A Hidden Gem in Tara Canyon – Nature, Comfort, and Exceptional Hospitality

Hotel Ravnjak was absolutely stunning! Nestled deep in the forest within the Tara Canyon, the setting felt like something out of a dream. A beautiful river runs right alongside the property, adding to the peaceful and breathtaking scenery.
The on-site restaurant was excellent — delicious food in a truly magical environment. A special shoutout to our host, Stefan, who was incredibly attentive and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area and even helped guide us all the way to the hotel.
If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in nature with amazing hospitality, this place is a hidden gem.

Beautiful spot to stay!

We had an amazing experience staying at Hotel Ravnjak this summer. It's situated in the heart of Tara Springs park, with the River Tara flowing all around. Amazing walks nearby, for all abilities! ... gentle strolls of difficult heights and peaks with amazing views...! Food was great, and the service from both Marco and Stefan was excellent. Very attentive, and always wanted to ensure we were comfortable and having a good time! The rooms in the hotel are authentic and comfortable and have everything you need from a great shower, mirrors, wardrobes, mini fridge, fan and incredible views of the mountains from every window! Table tennis table is a great feature for some evening activities...or an excellent seating area of the restaurant/bar overlooking the river where you can enjoy some great cheap beer or wine! all in all a great spot to stay at when exploring Montenegro...just around the corner from Durmitoor national park, and around 40 mins from Biogradska national park... will be visiting again! 10/10 :)

The best fresh fish

We stopped by the restaurant for food during a tour with Andrija (Mont Travelers) We had beautiful fresh trout which was very tasty, portion sizes were huge and great value for money, very attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful setting to eat over looking the river. Highly recommend!

Huge setback

This hotel is very overrated. The service is below all arrow. The owner and Stefan are very friendly and helpful but there are a few people walking around who really nothing of service. Mostly they try to ignore you. To get up as little as possible and to do as little as possible. This is not how a hotel is supposed to be. There is clutter everywhere on the property, the rooms are reasonable (if you like bright white light, then you are in the right place )
The river and waterfalls are great, but running a hotel is really different from a roadside restaurant. All in all a fence for when you are on holiday.
