Appalling customer treatment, but apartments are OK
I never write bad reviews, but this encounter with the Apartments Stankovic has forces me to do so.
The apartments were booked 6 months ago for my family of elderly parents and my sister with a small child.
The idea was that I would be paying for every aspect of their trip including this accommodation.
4 days before the trip I contacted the owner to arrange a transfer, which is also advertised as part of a service.
I got a very late short reply that "Sorry, but we must say, that we our apartments are total full. Bye" .
I triple checked my booking conformation and contacted the Booking.com service team who were very helpful and contacted the owners.
The next day I got a "YOUR RESERVATION IS NOW CONFIRMED" message, which makes you think that someone else was told 4 days before arrival that they were no longer welcome to this apartment.
I asked for a transfer to be arranged, but was told that" transverse is best to take a taxi".
We managed to arrange the taxi ourselves.
Upon arrival at 8pm, my family were confronted by the owner who asked them to pay the outstanding balance in cash (this was supposed to be charged to my card).
She took the last Euros from my family leaving them without a penny for 10 days.
I have to say that 3 days before the arrival I had arranged with the owner that they need to either charge my card (which they did partially) or wait for cash when I arrived.
The owner ignored this too.
My parents were shocked and my mother had serious high blood pressure which forced her to spend three days of her holiday bed bound.
So much for the start of and enjoyable holiday.
I had to send them money via Western Union.
My mother also got a very interesting comment from the owner that said "i only get Russian and Ukrainian families, why no European come and stay here".
This came across as if Russian or Ukrainian money no good enough for her?!
Regarding the apartment, it was clean, but fairly small.
There are no Wi-Fi or washing machine facilities, as the cleaner was never there to allow the use of the washing machine.
The toilet door had no lock and would not close, and only one ring of the cooker hob was working. And (this is not a joke) the kettle was smelly. The owner said it was due to the water, but this was not the case in my own apartment Stone House (see my 5 star review)

Izuzetno neprofesionalno i bahato ponasalje vlasnice apartmana.
Agoniju koju smo preživeli moj prijatelj i ja ne bih nikome preporučila. Po mom iskusvu i misljenju vrlo agresivna osoba,tako da i ako se odlučite da boravite u smestaju ,preporučujem oprez!
U toku boravka su bili radovi (bušenje, lupanje). Da ne spominjem izuzetno lošu izolaciju tako da se čuje svaki pokret drugih ljudi koji su iznad ili pored vas.
Sve u svemu ,od srca topla preporuka svima da izbegavaju ovaj smestaj

Proputovala sam pola sveta ali ovako nesto jos nisam dozivela.
Topla preporuka svima da izbegavaju ovaj smestaj.
O radovima i kolicini buke u "vili " da ne pricam. Sve u svemu izuzetno lose i neprijatno iskustvo.
