Need to wait really long to get service

The owner dragged us into going in his Restaurant. The service was terrible. I ordered ice cream they didn’t have that and proposed a dessert, I waited for that dessert for 45 minutes.

Villa Dulcinea......Brilliant!

Having travelled for a couple of days, it was a relief to get to Ulcinj! When we arrived at Dulcinea, we were told that our apartment was being refurbished and would be ready next day and so we would be shown different, temporary accommodation. Our hosts were extremely apologetic but this alternative was a decent room with a great view so it was no problem.
The following day, we were shown our refurbished apartment which had a similar aspect. The rebuilt shower room was impressive, although there were still a few details to be finished off, but they were nothing that would spoil our stay. When we heard about and saw the damage that had been caused to many buildings including ours by a severe storm the night before we arrived and which our hosts were having to deal with, these little things palled into insignificance! They did not let on, make excuses or complain but from the word go welcomed us so wonderfully well!
Although the steps from the town up to the apartment were a bit of a challenge every day for a 70 year old like me, it was a pleasant, healthy and adventurous walk with breathtaking views. Walking down to the harbour/bay beach was easy, as was the further walk around town. The walk out and swim in the shallow bay water was great but it was also easy to stay near the apartment, buy necessities from small, local shops and explore the nearby streets and bars but return to the comfort, quiet and brilliant views afforded by our apartment.
The food in the Dulcinea restaurant was excellent at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the views from the terraces were fantastic while we ate.
However, the best aspect of all about our stay........the Staff! They were simply superb: they were so polite, attentive, hard-working and eager to please........nothing was too much trouble! The friendliness with which we were greeted each time we crossed paths made us feel so relaxed and at home!
So, thank you so much to Mum and Dad and particularly Bond (no, not 007......better than him!), Exon, and the two younger local lads, Agon and Hadi........they all treated us like royalty! If we ever return to Ulcinj, it will be a real pleasure to meet them again. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending Villa and Restaurant Dulcinea to everyone and wish the staff there all the best for the future!

One of the favorite Villa Dulcinea!!

We came here as 3 couples. All of us were very happy to stay here. Owners were very attentive. Especially the food was very good. We ate amazing fish for dinner. Squid was legendary. Rooms were clean and view was amazing. You should definitely stay here when you come to Ulcinj.

TOP TOP TIP. Great accommodation with a great owner with breakfast and a view that is worth seeing. I was out and about and spontaneously asked about accommodation. We got the best room with a great sunny window. Since I speak the local language, I asked if I could do my laundry. The owner didn't hesitate for a second. She washed the laundry and hung it up. I have never experienced such service anywhere in the world. This is Montenegro at its best. Hospitable and unbelievable. Everything is simply 5 stars. I will be back and recommend it with all my heart.
