great campsite

We only used the campsite which has great amenities. The location of this hotel/campsite is one of the best at Erg Chebbi. You are literally at the foot of the dune.

Great.

Beautiful accommodation, very nice setting, quiet, infinite kindness of the staff, very good buffet breakfast and dinner. We spent one night in the ryad and one night in bivouac after a camel ride across the dunes, it was great.

Very nice and practical hotel. Great pool.

Clean room and authentic decor. Great swimming pool where it is good to swim after a hot day in the desert or in the surroundings. Well located, the desert dunes are just behind, and after a 10-minute walk here you sit on a dune to watch a fairy tale sunrise.
On the other hand there is a slight downside: the food, correct but not great.

Nice structure but very dirty

The property as a whole is gorgeous and the room we stayed in was aesthetically very nice and quaint, with an excellent location close to the dunes.
Unfortunately, our experience was severely compromised by cleanliness. The room had not been properly prepared: we found dirt on the ground (balls of hair and more) and, more seriously and unacceptably, the sheets were dirty with visible hair and residue, leaving the strong doubt that they had not been changed.
I don't usually write reviews, but this lack of basic hygiene has been a source of great disappointment. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity for improvement, as this is a fundamental aspect that has ruined an otherwise potentially perfect stay. We didn't take pictures to not further damage your reputation, but the problem was serious.

It could be beautiful. But too much dirt

Cleanliness really well below the minimum. Sheets definitely reused without washing. A cockroach strolled on the bedside table. Air conditioning leaking water and therefore unusable (the damp spot on the wall indicates that it is a historical problem)
