ABSOLUTELY to be avoided
First take note that at this time of year we are the ONLY guests of the property and are offered the smallest room.
Following the happy intervention of our agency "Best Morocco Private Tours", we get another room at no additional cost but the surprise, the walls of the bathroom and the floor are wet but the hotelier refuses to admit, claiming that it will pass, and he provides us with a mop to wipe.
We show him that even the blankets of the bed are damp but he claims that with the heat, they will dry... so we slept with our coats.
In the evening and in the morning, we avoided using the shower. As for the toilet, we must go there with great caution so much that it was slippery to walk there.
With the water harvesting seals on the dining room floor, we were treated to milk-free capuccino.
We admit that the area had unfavourable weather conditions.... but we were his only guests and by going to lunch in the morning on the 4th floor we were able to observe all these available rooms through their open doors, which were in normal condition.
We travel a lot and are tolerant in nature but I repeat that this establishment is to BE AVOIDED because at no time, the person in charge admitted his wrongs.
We invited our driver and guide to see how right we were with the wish that no agency would now deal with them.
This property is NOT recommended ...unless you are willing to mop during your vacation.

An authentic stay in the blue city Chefchaouen
A customer-friendly staff, generous and caring owners.
Located in the city centre, not far from ancient Kasbah, this hotel offers beautiful modern rooms overlooking the mountains. The bedding is clean, a well equipped bathroom with foam products, silky blankets and a TV is arranged for those who like to see a movie before sleeping.
Traditional breakfast is served on the top floor like a rooftop. A Beldi assortment is offered and vs will love the famous tomato sauce omelet and Moroccan mint-scented tea!
A peaceful corner that soothes your soul and allows you to recharge fully. You hear in the distance the songs of cop in the early morning, chickens and sheep, birds flying over the trees. At sunset, a fine mist of the mountains envelopes the village giving it a unique mountain charm.
Next to the Blue Balcony, you can visit the Kasbah, the traditional bazaar and its beautiful blue alleys, the flowing water sources, and small accessible restaurants.
This stay was unique and memorable when visiting Chefchaouen for the first time! I invite everyone, friends and relatives to stay at the Blue Balcony, safely and serenely! Thank you bcp Blue Balcony for everything!

Memorable Visit
The 'manager/owner' was on speed I think - at breakfast it was crazy/hectic and he was loving every minute of meeting all our needs as far as possible. He then assisted with the incredible overloading of the small van used for getting the cases to the nearest flat coach park, while we walked a distance. You had to see that car go off down the hill, to believe it!
So the accommodation was one night and that was ok. Our ground floor room had a few things not working (probably telephone and fridge) and I recall there was no coffee for machine. There was a lot of loose electrical wiring about - especially in the bathroom above the mirror where a temporary bulb had been installed. despite the minimal wires with no outer insulation, there were no exposed bits, but it should not be allowed, even if you are in Morocco.
The bathroom was at least a 300mm step up to enter - so in the night, when half asleep, it was easy to fall out onto the normal floor level if you were not aware.
So memorable as I say, but for the wrong reasons.
Excellent location
