I feel that looking around the area this hotel offered us the best option as it was modern, clean and safe parking out front.
There was a delay in checking in as they were strict on the 3pm slot so we arrived an hour earlier and had to wait. Power cut on entry was annoying but not their fault, rooms were modern and clean.
Breakfast was a no menu affair so you asked for things and they said if they had them.
Staff were polite and helpful so all in all a good experience although the tourist tax was charged at £40.00 [500DH] whereas the Hotel.com invoice said £8.40 [100DH] but this was what was on their system?

Worst experience ever

We were given a room in the basement. We asked them to change for us as we had requested ground floor room because we both haer said we should have bad knees. They refused because they said we have booked with Booking.com
No matter what we said they wouldnt change the room. The manager "advised" to cancel the room and rebook. It was was non refundable booking we would have to pay twice.
Also the bathroom smelt so bad. it was like we were in a toilet. Such foul smell.
Again complained to say they need to change the room but again they refused. it seems like they dont like you to book with booking.com.
Nexy day they sprayed the bathroom with so much chemicals and then as soon as we flushed the toilet the smell apperead.
All in in all not good customer care.

Excellent hotel. Relatively new. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. 5-10 minutes walk to the ‘blue city’. Great views across the valley. Spacious rooms. I’d stay there again
We parked our bikes directly in front of the reception, where there are cameras and a full time night security - so they felt safe. Apparently Chefchaouen is a safe location anyway - we felt that way in the narrow passageways of the medina.
Worth a visit.

Great Place to Stay In Chefchaouen

Beautiful location with panoramic views. Attentive staff who went out of their way to pack breakfast at 7 am for us to enjoy on the road!
