A peaceful,welcoming guesthouse on the Moroccan coast

My partner and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Dar Al Manar during our recent holiday in Morocco. We particularly appreciated the delicious breakfast and evening meals prepared for us, and the care that Fatima took to suit the food to our tastes and preferences.
The peace and quiet of our surroundings was very relaxing and we learned a lot about local culture and history.

Definitely worth finding.

Might be slightly out of the way, but well worth finding. However very convenient for both El Jadida and Azemmour. Spacious comfy and well furnished rooms, which are very tastefully decorated. Beautifully quiet. Fatima the owner/ host went out of her way to make us welcome. An excellent meal in the evening, spent in the delightful company of some French speaking Swiss guests, but joined latterly by Fatima, enabling us all to put the world to rights! An enjoyable breakfast, particularly enjoying the pomegranate seeds, with yoghurt.

Great place & experience

Highly recommended. Fantastic place to stay if you happen to pass by El Jadida or work in Casablanca and want to spend a week-end in country side.
The place is very quite, has a big and well maintained garden and you can hear the sound of the waves.
The house is full of charm, has lots of space and comfortable areas where to relax.
Fatima, the owner, made sure that all our needs were fulfilled. Besides managing our stay attentively and professionally, she also happens to be a very good cook so make sure to have dinner if you stay there.

The best spot in El Jadida

I spent nearly 3 weeks working in El Jadida.
Friends recommended to stay in Dar Al Manar.
So far the best spot in El Jadida.
I felt home with much better dishes .
Fatima please keep it the way it is.
Hope to visit soon but not for work.

A House Full of Light

My husband and I stayed just one night at Dar Al Manar while he was playing a golf tournament. Our stay could not have been more relaxing and Fatima was charming and elegant, we had a delicious Moroccan dinner and slept well in our cozy bed. The view from the roof is of farmland and beyond that, the ocean, and even on cloudy days the beautiful decor, comfortable furniture and light tiles and paint radiated light and warmth. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, looking through a stack of books and listening to Fado music on a CD player. It was the perfect Moroccan escape and we wished we could have stayed longer.
