Awesome Stay
We stayed at Dar Raha Othello and it was amazing. We had four couples in our group and there was plenty of space. Nezha is in charge of the Villa. She made us feel at home and was very helpful. She does a great job of organizing itineraries for the week. She scheduled cooking classes, a vineyard tour, a hammam, an excursion at a Berber village and taxis when needed. Nezha is an excellent cook. She made four dinners for our group during our week's stay. I can't say which one we liked more. Every night before dinner, she would serve appetizers and we would open some wine. What a great way to catch up on the day's events and share a laugh or two. Dar Raha Othello is in a great location and is really comfortable. The rooftop deck is a great place to have breakfast or a glass of wine. We all would highly recommend Dar Raha Othello for your stay.

Superb Very Quiet Hotel
Beautiful riad set within the old medina.
Lovely architecture, with beautiful artefacts from around the world.
Amazing- probably the best breakfast we have had anywhere prepared and served by Khaija ( I don’t know if that is spelt correctly!) she is so lovely, helpful and always happy to help.
Emed who also helps run the place a so helpful and charming.
The rooms are cleaned and tidied everyday, hot water. So quiet only occasionally hear the seagulls which is normal as we’re so close to the sea.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough it’s been a lovely relaxing stay here in Essaouira.

Dar Raha Othello
My family and I had a great vacation in Essaouira, Morocco.
What made it more memorable was the place ( riad) where we stayed. The Dar Raha Othello is a beautiful and comfortable place to enjoy your days in this Moroccan city.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They know the right places to go shopping, to eat and sightseeing.
All the shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the riad.
You can ask the staff to book a camel ride, a massage or any other activty that you would like to experience.

Unforgettable Vacation
Dar Raha Othello is the perfect Riad to spend a wonderful time in Essaouira. The Riad is located inside the Medina and is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The owners and staff are very hospitable and offer you great advice to make the most of your time there. The accommodations are splendid; rooms are decorated with vibrant colors and feel like home. I highly recommend it!

A Wonderful Authentic Moroccan Experience
We just had a wonderful stay at Dar Raha Othello. It is a beautiful and authentic Moroccan home (Riad) in the beautiful seaside village of Essaouria.
The location cannot be beat. It is located on a small, charming street right off one of the main streets that leads you to a major Bab (Gate) of the city. This Bab is also closest to the sea for those strolls or jogs along the beach. It is also a good location for excursions from the city. Restaurants are also easy to walk to and from this wonderful location in the Medina.
The main living area is simply beautiful, with its beautiful arches (intersecting barrel vault design) that give a Roman flourish, and is extremely romantic. The furnishings, with their vibrant colors, embellish this beautiful space. This is a must-stay place.
The daily breakfast prepared by the staff was really good, and included an assortment of delectable Moroccan breakfast items. The orange juice was really very tasty and one of our favorites ever.
The owners and staff introduced to some of the special local places that really helped us make wise shopping decisions. Essaouria is the sight of finding some rare wood (Thuya) products and their advice on where to purchase quality wood products and jewelry from local artisans was invaluable.
Yes, Yes, Yes. This is the place to stay while in Essaouria!
