Authentic experience, disappointing comfort level

We stayed 4 nights at the Riad with family. The welcome, the service delivered and the information communicated by Othman and Imane are really great. They do their utmost to satisfy their visitors. We had an authentic experience for New Year's Eve (local singers), tea and cake. On the other hand, the level of comfort is insufficient by our standards (and expectations). Smell of sewage in the rooms from the bathrooms which are tiny (no area to deposit its products), shower and toilet assembled (wet toilet paper and flooded floor after each shower in one of the rooms), very dark rooms at night, very poor insulation of the windows (audible external noise + cold that rushes). Luckily, the beds are comfortable and the DPJ local and hearty.

Dar Al-Alj, you truly deserve thanks and praise. Of course, it is a very special hotel. The reception service was simply amazing. The food was very good. Everything was special.

Right in the middle and just super nice.

Great!
Ideal for a city trip.
I just love the Moroccan breakfast.
The location is great. It's in a quiet side street, but you're right in the old town.
Cafes, restaurants and shopping opportunities are right around the corner.
I'd go back anytime.

Always my pleasure.

A wonderful stay! We were personally picked up at the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) and taken to the beautiful Riad. Charming interiors with a rich history, a great, easy-to-find location, wonderful hosts, clean and a very comfortable, quiet room. An oasis! Thank you for a fantastic experience!
We would definitely go back!
