Superb apartment hotel

Superb apartment hotel ideally located on Jemaa el-Fna square, with a view of the entire square from the room. Excellent value for money. Easily accessible and very well-equipped establishment. Cleaning is done every day and the cleaning staff are very kind. At the front desk, all the young men were very kind and attentive. A special thanks to Hicham who welcomed us on the first day and who was super helpful and warm. We were truly touched by the Moroccan hospitality, which is truly unique! People who are always smiling, warm, and so welcoming! A first experience in Morocco that was more than successful.

Absolutely right on the square that is the great hub of Marrakech

If you are standing in the famous huge square of Jamaa el Fana, which is known to be the busy heart of Marrakech and look to the south, then you can see quite easily, fixed on the wall of one of the buildings, in bold letters the legend B&B Medina. That is the rather handily located and very comfortable apart hotel of that name.
It may be a bit difficult at first to find if you are arriving from a different direction as the actual entrance is not easy to see. It’s only a single doorway on a street at the side of the building, next door to a cafe called Le Samovar. However the hotel does offer a service to pick you up on arrival in Marrakech and bring you to it.
So, from the door on the side you will need to go up to the first floor where you will find a very smart and clean reception to the studio rooms and apartments.
The hotel is really very nice, the rooms are clean, very well furnished and comfortable with a kitchenette to boot. Breakfast can be arranged and that is taken, not in the hotel but in the little cafe Le Samovar which is almost next door.
The location is excellent as it is as I have said actually on the edge of Place Jamaa el Fna and the souks on the opposite side of the square. Plus, there are several restaurants with rooftop views over the square very close at hand and the tourist sites of the Medina and Mellah are within a few minutes easy walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay at this nice hotel.

Not for me.

Apart from the reception and the cleaning service which is very nice, we did not enjoy room N* 10 at all. Lugubrious and austere without decoration, having stayed in December, the floors are icy with only one carpet under the coffee table. Poorly heated by noisy air conditioning. Horrible lighting in the room, a nightstand with small lamp would be nice. I’m not talking about the bathroom where you can barely open the door, necessarily they fixed the broken towel rail just behind.
Good to see maybe the other rooms...

Fabulous and Fantastic

Fantastic place, excellent service beyond our expectations. Very well equipped and serviced daily. Cafe next door is owned by BnB Medina and can high recommend food and service great, and reasonably priced. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything is so close. Very safe area. We had the best stay. Rooms are large, exceptionally clean and the staff fabulous. The fact you can sit on the balcony and watch what's going on in the square was great. No noise in the rooms once the windows are closed. Beds very comfy, air con worked a treat, not one negative and the WiFi was very reliable.
