Location was a little outside Arusha proper but Bolt rides were always quick and very affordable. Restaurant choices a little limited but good.

Enjoyable Stay at the Marrakech Le Meridien N'Fis Hotel

I very much enjoyed my six-night stay at the end of July and first of August 2026 in the beautiful Marrakech Le Meridien N’Fis Hotel. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and at home every day of my stay and housekeeping so diligently and kindly cleaned my room each day. I appreciate good housekeeping service, which I received at the Le Meridien N’Fis Hotel. I had a comfortable room and bed, enjoyed the large outdoor pool, and felt at peace in the lovely and expansive hotel gardens. The delicious breakfast and food service in the executive lounge always pleased me and I had exceptional meals in the Arda restaurant on-site. On a couple of mornings, a guitarist and drummer even provided music for breakfast, which I liked a lot!

Excellent hotel

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, and I feel it is only right to express my sincere appreciation to the management and every member of the team.
My name is Mohammed Al-Nawafleh, and I am a Marriott Bonvoy Member. I stay at Marriott properties and other international hotel brands on a regular basis, so my review is based on extensive travel experience and genuine comparison.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with outstanding professionalism and genuine hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk team made us feel valued from the very beginning.
We stayed in Room 384, which was immaculate, beautifully renovated, and maintained to an exceptional standard. The attention to detail throughout the room reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality and guest comfort.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the Housekeeping Team for keeping our room spotless throughout our stay. The restaurant staff delivered excellent service, and every meal we enjoyed was delicious and prepared to a very high standard. My appreciation also goes to the pool team for their professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to maintaining such a clean and relaxing environment.
What impressed me the most was the people. It is evident that the hotel’s management invests heavily in recruiting, training, and developing its staff. Their professionalism, positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to assist guests created an experience that exceeded our expectations.
During this trip to Marrakech, I also stayed at another five-star hotel. Without mentioning its name, I can honestly say that the level of professionalism, organization, service quality, and staff expertise I experienced here was noticeably superior. That speaks volumes about the standards and leadership of this hotel.
This trip was shared with my wife, my daughter, and our friends, and we reserved two rooms. Every one of us left with the same impression: outstanding hospitality, exceptional service, and a team that truly cares about its guests.
My sincere thanks go to the hotel’s management for creating such a remarkable experience and for building such an outstanding team. I also wish to thank the Front Office, Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Pool teams, as well as everyone working behind the scenes who contributed to making our stay unforgettable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for genuine hospitality and world-class service. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Marrakech

Wait Until the Renovation Is Finished — Excellent Staff, Poor Condition

The staff at Le Méridien N’Fis worked extremely hard and treated us well throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel during its current renovation made it impossible for the property to provide anything close to the five-star experience its name and pricing suggest. When we pulled up, our local guide briefly wondered aloud whether the hotel was closed — that is the state of the entrance and lobby. My honest advice: unless you have a specific reason to be here, book somewhere else until the work is complete.
Our room was genuinely good. It had clearly been recently renovated — attractive, clean, spacious, and comfortable, with the only real complaint being an extremely firm mattress. It is a fair preview of what this hotel will be when the work is done. But a good room is not enough when everything around it is a construction site, and that is the honest picture of the rest of the property.
The renovation is far more extensive than the hotel’s messaging suggests. Describing the work as an update to the spa does not adequately prepare guests for the actual condition of the property, and we would not have booked had we known.
We saw exposed and hanging wires, sections missing from walls, damaged flooring, broken tiles, cracked plaster, and numerous areas in various stages of construction. Throughout the hotel the experience was inconsistent — some spaces had been fully renovated and looked excellent, others remained visibly old and worn, and several were caught somewhere in the middle. The overall result felt closer to an unfinished three-star property than a functioning five-star hotel.
The pool is one of the areas that does not appear to have been renovated. It was usable and perfectly adequate, but noticeably less attractive than pools at several much more modest Moroccan hotels we stayed at on this trip.
Other bright spots: the executive lounge was a pleasant surprise — hours were limited to roughly 2:00–10:00 p.m., but the food on our first evening was very good, and the macarons were delicious. The main restaurant was good rather than exceptional, but the staff there was outstanding. The live music was another enjoyable touch. Wi-Fi was adequate but not especially fast or consistent.
The one genuine advantage is location relative to the airport. It is outside the old city but close enough to reach most attractions by car, and the ten-minute drive to the airport was very helpful for our pre-dawn departure. If you have an early flight and need proximity above all else, that may justify a night here. For anyone else, it does not.
Two stars rather than one only because the staff was so attentive and our room was pleasant. The employees are clearly doing everything they can, but the property is not giving them an environment in which they can deliver a true Le Méridien experience. Once the renovation is complete this may become a very good hotel. Until then, travelers deserve far clearer disclosure of the construction before they book — and my recommendation is to wait.
