Central. Clean. Friendly. A+++++

The riad is truly impossible to find without a guide or transfer to the riad!!! Do not even try it. The location is really central for Marrakech.
The riad is very well-maintained and lovingly decorated. The staff is friendly and attentive. The room is cleaned every day and new towels are provided. Every day!
The breakfast is plentiful and good.
When booking, care must be taken to ensure that the room (room name will be provided at booking) is not double-booked, or else a completely different one will be assigned. But those are just minor details.
Note: A+++++

⭐⭐⭐⭐‐ An unforgettable stay at Riad EMIR!
If you are looking for the rare gem in Marrakech, look no further: I STRONGLY recommend the Riad EMIR.
Here's why we loved it:
Ideal location: Located in the heart of the Medina, close to Bahia Palace, the spice market and the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square. The riad is located in a very quiet little alley, surrounded by other beautiful riads, which guarantees peaceful nights while being close to the bustle.
Easy access: Unlike many places in the Medina, access is simple and direct.
Riad & Services: The place is beautiful, the team is very caring and the breakfast is pure happiness: fresh, hearty and really nice to start the day well.
A golden team: A huge thank you to the host, Brice, who is on top of the top and extremely accommodating. Special mention also to Hichem and Amina, superb people, amazing kindness, who do everything to make one feel at home.
In short, a human experience and a beautiful place. You go ahead with your eyes closed!

Enveloping, familiar and elegant atmosphere

Very elegant riad. To access it you have to walk through the alleys, this is perhaps the only flaw, but considering that are so the riads and that the streets, despite the impression are safe you pass over them. The owner welcomed us with great kindness in an enveloping atmosphere with background music and lights at the entrance. The rooms are spacious, clean and in a very elegant style. The breakfast was hearty and really very good. They accompanied us on foot to take the taxi to the square in the morning at 5 am for the return. Kindness and elegance the keywords.

Good address in Marrakech

Riad close to Jemaa El fna Square. At the end of a very quiet street. Riad very nice, comfortable, well maintained, very clean. Big plus, Isham and Amina. Very dedicated to the riad, to the customers. Every need, every request. What more can I ask for? Between isham who organizes our stay à la carte, everything is perfect, and Amina who prepares great breakfast and meals. And the rest of the team is in the same dynamic. Everything is done to have a perfect stay. Thank you to them!! Go there!!

A Very Disappointing Stay - Definitely Not Restful

We stayed at this Riad for 5 nights, and unfortunately, it was the least restful vacation we’ve ever had.
First, although I had clearly requested an upstairs room, we were given one on the ground floor. Upon arrival, we discovered that the room was extremely damp — even the bed sheets felt wet.
After just one night, we were greeted by a cockroach coming out of the headboard. A second one appeared two days later.
But the worst was yet to come: we had chosen this place to relax, but every single morning at 6 AM we were woken up by the night guard’s alarm clock, which he let ring not once, but three or four times each morning.
We informed the manager several times, and although he spoke to the night guard repeatedly, the problem was never resolved.
You might wonder why we could hear the alarm as if it was inside our room? That’s because the night guard slept on a sofa right outside our door. There was absolutely no privacy — the old windows and doors provided zero sound insulation.
We could hear new guests arriving, buzzing the entrance, and talking loudly in the echoing hallway at 2 AM.
We asked to change rooms but were refused. We asked multiple times for the alarm situation to be handled, but nothing was done — it continued every single morning.
No compensation was offered for all these issues. On top of that, we were forced to pay the city tax in cash, even though we had no cash left and they refused card payment.
The only bright spot was the lovely cook who prepared delicious breakfasts and was always kind and attentive. The manager was polite as well, but he really should have intervened properly to save our stay.
We left feeling even more tired than when we arrived.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
