DO NOT STAY HERE - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
Very dirty hostel that needs lots of renovating. The staff is very unprofessional and the actual owner isn't even on the premise and is completely rundown.
I don't even know how that place reached a 9.1 on Booking.com and a 4.5 star in google maps reviews and Trip Advisor. They are giving cash discounts for people to leave a good review on them as I was approached before I left to leave my own.
Beware, the whole hostel is RUN DOWN and the hot water runs out really quick.
Showers are so basic you can't even put your things on shelves since they are non existent.
The kitchen absolutely disgusting (check pictures).
Rooms are dirty with brown stains and dead slapped mosquitoes on the wall. Its so cold there are literally two big blankets.
Door bell that rings almost non stop because they need to open the door to the guests. Even at 1am. Good luck if you have a tour booked reslly early in the morning (in my case i had a hot air balloon tout at 6am.)
Also, the entrance is in a really shady dirty corner of the medina. Shady guys at the entrance asking your dirhams to ring the doorbell for you.
The problem is, there is so much echo in the whole hostel, you cannot escape it. I had the worst sleep the entire time.
I left a review on Booking.com but they managed to appeal it for being too real. I want to let other travellers know that your trip will be ruined if you stay there. If you are on a budget, there are way better hostel somewhere else!
Thank you for ruining part of my Morocco trip Madrassa.

I booked a hostel, I found a home
I stayed there both alone and with my group of friends. To welcome us there was Rachid, one of the nicest people I have ever met, he was nice and extremely helpful for every need.
The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and on the top floor there's a very nice terrace to spend the evening with friends.
Breakfast is included and there are various services, including laundry, where you can do your laundry if I need it (I did).
Quiet location close to all the attractions in the centre.
In short, not only do I recommend it, but I will be back!
