Rabat Riad authentic experience served with love

A stunning riad lovingly restored, with modern facilities and heritage Moroccan artitecture. Every detail has been thought through, decor, art, furnishings and guest services. Youseff the owner is an amazing host and his team deliver 5 star food, hamman and massage. The breakfast was one of the best we had on Morocco.

Welcoming Riad Retreat

My family group of 10 stayed in this lovely riad on the edge of the Rabat medina. What a delightful stay! The proprietor was on site 24x7 and has turned this property into a beautiful and welcoming retreat. The gorgeous rooms are spacious and the included breakfast an amazing array of delicious treats. Common areas are comfortable and well-appointed. All staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. This riad set the bar pretty high for our remaining 2 weeks in other Moroccan cities!

Impeccable.

Our experience was excellent from beginning to end. We would like to highlight the hospitality of Mr. Youcef Azrgui, always very attentive, friendly and available — from those hosts who really make you feel welcome.
The Riad is beautiful and extremely well cared for, with attention to the details in each setting. The accommodation is comfortable, pleasant and conveys a real feeling of care and whim.
It was a very special stay. We recommend without hesitation.

An amazing stay in Rabat!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay at Dar Miraj was. The riad was absolutely beautiful. Our room was lovely. The breakfasts were bounteous and beautifully laid out. Besides all the fresh fruit, vegetables, and bread, there was a also a very yummy shakshuka-like dish cooked in a tagine. I love the way they display the 3 kinds of olives in teeny tagines. (Can’t help but love a country that serves olives at breakfast!) But it was Youssef (host and owner) who was the gem of the riad. His enthusiasm for the riad and its history as he showed us around was truly remarkable. He helped us plan our time, suggested sightseeing routes, recommended restaurants, and rescued us when we ran out of dirhams and the ATMs had run out too! (be aware that the ATMs can run out of money on the weekends!) and exchanged some of our euros. All in all a lovely stay with a wonderful host.

Would book the riad anytime. A great place to stay

A beautiful historical riad. Good location to the medina. The owner is very attentive, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Can only be recommended.
