Best vacation ever
I have never had such a nice vacation. the team is great. The food (I had breakfast and dinner) was delicious, the rooms nice, the yoga classes were great too. There is a roof terrace with an incredible view. After a few days I felt like home. Thanks saltsurf!

Very disappointing
I'm not someone who normally leaves reviews, let alone bad ones, but I feel really disappointed at the treatment I received (or didn't, from Salt Surf).
We booked a room at Salt Surf at the beginning of January (for a stay in the middle of February). Four days before our booking, we received an email from Laura, the manager at Salt Surf saying that there had been an issue with a burst pipe in our room and unfortunately we wouldn't be able to stay. She sent over 2 alternative hostels, neither of which were actually available on our dates...
Whilst disappointing, I understand that maintenance issues and bust pipes happen. We had to find another hostel, which unfortunately wasn't as nice, but I can appreciate the problem seemingly was out of the hostel's control. I thanked Laura for her suggestions and asked if she could kindly issue a refund for the money we had already paid.
After several days, I realised that no money had been returned to me and no response had been received. I emailed again, politely asking if a receipt confirming our refund could be sent over. A few more days went by... nothing. Another email, again nothing.
We're now 4 emails in and almost a month down the line, with no refund, or response from Salt Surf... for a last-minute cancellation that was made by them.

BEST PLACE EVER
This is my second stay at Salt Surf Taghazout, but not the last!!!
This hostel is so unique! Place on a hill side overlooking Taghazout and the beaches. Beautiful Moroccan decoration!
They staff is AMAZING! They go out of their way to make your stay perfect. They make you feel at home and relaxed.
Great food!! Even with the option to go vegetarian!
Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic!
The best hostel I've stayed in Morocco!
Very clean house, the employees/surf teachers/yoga teachers are very lovely. The hostel has a really delicious breakfast and dinner and a beautiful rooftop with a nice view on the beach. It was a pleasure to stay there! ❤️

Had the best time!
I stayed at Salt Surf Taghazout with two friends after having been recommended it by another traveler, and I’m so glad we went there. Everyone that we met was so nice, it really has a great vibe.
As a beginner surfer I really enjoyed the lessons. Both Yassine and Adil were super patient and enthusiastic, and the lessons were smaller than the other groups that we saw on the beach which was nice. The hostel was also kept really clean and the food was tasty.
My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer :)
