Boutaghrar "la nature, le calme & la paix totale"

L'hôtel "Gite" Amnay se situe à Boutaghrar 20 Km de Kalaat megouna, c'est un endroit magnifique, dont lequel on sent le contraste de la verdure et le desert en même temps. la restauration est excéllente (Merci Hassan pour le tajine)
l'hospitalité et l'acceuil chaleureux du propriétaire Mr Youssef est inoubliable.
On a passé des moments agréables à Amnay, c'était super.

Not where it says it is!

This isn't a review as such (because we never got there), more of a warning. On Booking.com and TripAdvisor this hotel is shown as being in the centre of Boumalne Dades. I arranged to meet a friend there with the intention of staying the night.
We arrived at different times and neither of us could find it, so we never met up despite me waiting for 5 hours in the baking heat on the spot where the hotel "should" be.
No-one I asked had heard of it. The reason? It turned out it was about 30k away at the top of the Valley of the Roses!!!!!! What's more, it's up a very steep (if pretty) road. When you've already cycled a long distance that day then this is very bad news.
Honestly, how hard can it be to mark the correct location of a hotel on the map.

très sympathique

Dans le haut Atlas et la vallée des roses, au bord d'un oued, établissement très calme, accueil chaleureux. Le restaurant propose une cuisine marocaine très savoureuse et copieuse. C'est vraiment une adresse à retenir!

schönes und authentisches Hotel

die Lage ist toll, man hat einen super Blick über das Tal und das Dorf. Allerdings muss man das Hotel erst einmal finden, Man darf sich nicht von Wegen abschrecken lassen, die gesperrt aussehen oder man dort nicht fahren kann - das geht schon. Im Innenhof des Hotels, das an einer Erweiterung arbeitet, wird man von dem freundlichen und höflichen Besitzer empfangen, der leider nur französisch spricht. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber funktionell. Im Winter ist man der einzige Gast und das Hoel hat, wie so viele in dieser Gegend, keine Heizung. Also warme Sachen anziehen. Im schönen Speisesaal bekommt man seinen Tee und sein Essen. Der Besitzer leisetet einem selbsverständlich als Gast immer Gesellschaft.
ein wirklich interessanter Ort und es soll das beste Haus am PLatz sein. Man wird hier wirklich noch als Gast behandelt!
