Welcoming homely stay

I've just returned from a lovely stay here. The host is such a friendly person and so helpful. He arranged our taxi back to the airport and helped arrange a taxi for a day trip. He was lovely enough to suggest we go with another couple as they were also going to the same places and it would mean we could share the cost. The couple were happy to share a taxi and we had a lovely time with them
The hotel has so much character. I loved the decor, with lots of antiques and colours.
Each room is decorated differently to reflect the style of hotel. We were given some background on the how the hotel came together ( made up of 3 houses) which explained the way everything connected.
There is a lovely terrace where you can see the sunrise over the marine and beach.
Great location as there are 2 entrance's, one into the Medina and the other on the main road. Easy to walk to the marina bay area and the beach. We walked most places but taxis are easily available
Breakfast was plentiful and very typical of a Moroccan breakfast, breads, spreads, tea/ coffee, fruit and eggs. Great way to start the day
The hotel has common space for you to sit and admire the decor or to relax. For us this was in the main building so we didn't utilise this and we were out most of the time
Only downfall is the amount of stairs but most roads and hotels in the Medina area will be similar as it is a hill.
