Home away from home!

I stayed at Pensao Ya Mute for 3 months and had a wonderful experience. The beautiful garden and cozy room contributed to a delightful stay, and I greatly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the local staff.
I highly recommend!

Very nice first steps in Mozambique

Very nice board, clean super mattress hot water a kitchen equipped with a kettle...maybe missing a toaster....
Great location 15min walk from the city center, very quiet and very nice garden to rest!!! Super staff Locadia is a great help with her English and her smile!!! Matteo night watchman discreet and friendly!! I highly recommend!!!

Great and convenient spot in Chimoio.

Stayed here my last night in Mozambique was very convenient the beds all have Mosquito nets and they provided soap for showering. Comfy spot not far from the City link bus depot id recommend any backpackers passing thru Chimoio should stay here.

Great place to stay in Chimoio

I’ve had a great stay at Hostel Ya Mute. It was a stopover on my journey to Beira.
Communication was easy, the place was really clean, beds have mosquito nets and the garden is very nice to relax in.
The staff is also extremely nice and helpful. And they provide a towel, even for bed in dorms, which is very appreciable.
The only thing is that, to my opinion, the prices are too high for the dorm (1000 mzn = $15,75 without breakfast). Maybe include some breakfast for that price or reduce it?

Your point is well taken. We cater to individuals on a budget and we will make accomodations to reasonably fit that budget. That is how you did not pay the full amount you specified in your review. You forgot to mention that. In any case we offer lower prices now and since your last stay.

Lovely stay at Ya Mute!

I had to book a last minute stay in Chimoio and I am so happy to have had the contact for Ya Mute! They answered me immediately and even coordinated someone to pick me up from the side of the highway. The rooms and bathroom were nice and comfortable and they also helped me book a bus for the following morning! The only thing to note is there is no wifi on property, which wasn't a problem for me, but good to know for people traveling without cell service!
