Winner Winner, Seafood Dinner!

Paradise Dunes - what a place! Myself and 7 friends spent a week staying in this little pocket of paradise, just a short walk from the beach. The rustic Casa’s were fully equipped with cooking utensils, gas stoves, a fridge and freezer, fans and an outside braai. There was no microwave or oven, however Paradise Dunes is a short walk from nearby restaurants and the local market. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. They assisted us at the local market with the language barrier, bartered with locals for the freshest, most affordable fish, cleaned our rooms daily and lent us boogie-boards for the beach. Wifi wasnt great but made for a perfect holiday off the grid. Will definitely be back!

Awesome beach bad choice of accommodation

No secure parking, no security, bad road to lodge and bad signage.
WiFi does not work and the shower drain blocked
Amazing view of the ocean, we saw the biggest school of whales in my lifetime from our balcony.. great proximity to main beach, we enjoyed the short walk to restaurants.

Great place, great service

We stayed here a week on a family vacation and loved it. Good location just a few minutes from the beach. The house we had was lovely, just like in the photos, great view, well designed, super clean, everything we needed, even beach towels. Well equipped kitchen...no microwave or stove, but we knew that beforehand and planned accordingly. The staff were very nice and responsive. We will be back!

Great views

Went for 4 nights with friends, we enjoyed our stay. Spacious rooms, great views, clean bath and beach towels. Taking stairs up too bungalow didn’t trouble us. Staff was friendly and attentive. Even we arrived later then check inn time they didn’t have problem with it. Next morning we were shown around and given drinking water.
We would love to come back.

Great self catering lodge

We stayed, with my wife and two daughters, at the Paradise Dunes for a week and then extended our stay for another two days as much as we liked it. The place is beautiful, very well set up and very clean. The self catering feature is very convenient since the kitchen is well equipped and the local market is quite close. However, it is also near a few restaurants for the days one feels lazy to cook or wash dishes. We felt very safe and very well served by the great staff who always rushed to attend our demands. Internet also worked well, if a little slow, which seems to be normal in this area. In other words, we recommend strongly this place where we spent a wonderful time.
