I wish I had found this place sooner...

This place is what it says it is - a quiet corner. I needed some solo time and this place gave me exactly what I was looking for.
The girl at reception is amazing, kudos to her. She was so kind and hospitable to me. Even the security guard is well mannered, polite and hospitable. I will definitely make a plan to stay there in the future.

Excellent place to be based on a budget

Robert Berg, the owner has recently taken this over and is making great improvements. It is in good district with a great bar opposite (Elvis Pool Bar) serving great basic food. Robert is Danish and has lived here for 20 tears+. He is extremely accommodating and a fount of local knowledge and guidance. I will definitely book again here

Excellent wifi although you have to reconnect to garden or reception or floor.
Good bed.
Consistently good air con
Overlooking noisy Elvis Pool Bar
The whole place could have cleaner and my bathroom was almost falling apart

Nice and quiet as the name suggest

I stayed here sometime from 12-16 October 2015. This is a nice quiet and reasonable priced accommodation in Maputo. I stayed in the third floor, and my room overlooked the famous pub/restaurant where I had most of my dinners. The breakfast arrangement is very interesting as it is a self service, and there is a variety of options. What's the cherry on top, is the gracious owner who is always prepared to assist.

Is as the name implies

Nice rooms, central part of town, good access to Maputo life but not to the beach. It is a good place if visiting for business. Staff and management are extremely helpful. Can get away with both french and Portuguese (maybe English as well, but did not try)
