Exceptional

White Pearl Resorts is one of those rare places that exceeds expectations in every way. Nestled along a spectacular stretch of Mozambican coastline, it combines barefoot luxury, breathtaking natural beauty, refined elegance, and genuinely heartfelt hospitality.
The villas offer magnificent ocean views, the décor is tasteful and sophisticated, and the entire resort is impeccably maintained. Whether enjoying a sunrise beach walk, relaxing on the deck, or simply listening to the waves, White Pearl creates an atmosphere of tranquillity and exclusivity that is difficult to leave behind.
What truly sets this resort apart, however, is its people.
A special thank you to Maria, our personal butler, whose dedication transformed an already wonderful holiday into something unforgettable. On her own initiative, she arranged surprise dining experiences throughout our stay, ensuring that no two meals were the same. From a beautiful beach picnic to intimate bonfire dinners on the shoreline and exquisitely decorated outdoor dining settings illuminated by firelight and adorned with flowers and petals, every experience felt magical. Her warmth, creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional.
Chef Fernando delivered a culinary experience that was consistently outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious.
Joanna at reception welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every aspect of our stay ran seamlessly.
Our villa was lovingly cared for by Atalia, whose housekeeping went far beyond expectations. Each day we returned to beautiful floral arrangements, creative towel displays resembling swans, hearts and birds, and even a romantic bubble bath illuminated by candles. Her thoughtfulness, creativity and attention to detail added so much warmth and charm to our stay.
A special acknowledgement also goes to Luis. While carrying out maintenance work, he noticed that our shade umbrella could be better positioned and voluntarily offered to move it to improve our comfort while enjoying the ocean views. A small gesture perhaps, but one that perfectly reflected the culture of care that exists throughout the resort.
Anne from Public Relations was equally wonderful. Her warmth, engagement and genuine interest in guests made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay.
A particularly memorable encounter occurred on our final day when we met a gentleman who introduced himself simply as Florival and thanked us for our patronage. Only later did we discover that he was Florival Mucave, the owner of the resort and an accomplished international businessman. What impressed us most was his humility. We observed him walking amongst his team with genuine respect, leading quietly by example rather than position. Our brief interaction with him explained so much about the culture we experienced throughout the resort. The warmth, professionalism and kindness displayed by every staff member clearly begins at the top.
White Pearl has mastered the difficult balance between luxury and warmth. It feels exclusive without being pretentious, sophisticated without being formal, and indulgent without losing its authenticity.
Our heartfelt thanks to Maria, Chef Fernando, Joanna, Atalia, Luis, Anne, Florival, and the entire White Pearl team for creating such a remarkable experience.
We arrived as guests and departed with cherished memories.
We look forward to returning.

Should have been better

Location is a true gem, my 3rd visit was in April, I was however disappointed with the drop in standards. Transport arrangements from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport were a complete disaster.
Then we had a guest knocking on our door telling us we need to check out because they are checking in, where does that happen in the world ?

White pearl honeymoon

Ranks very high on hospitality, setting, food and personal attention to detail. Facilities are very clean and neat but some upgrading will become necessary as it is starting to look a little dated. Our butler, Maria, was an absolute star.

Untouched Paradise

Incredible resort with the best Mozambique hospitality one could ask for. Location and views are breath taking! All villas are very private and every small detail has been thought out to make the stay luxurious and relaxing. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make the experience one to remember. Scuba Diving was an amazing experience, we loved every minute at the resort.

Resort turned into a brothel

Whitepearl Resorts used to be a gem in the Mozambican southern hemisphere but now looks more or less like a brothel. From reception, restaurant, activities, housekeeping & maintenance being the major one it's all money wasted to choose this place for a holiday getaway. The resort has been known for its delicious food and the best caring staff. It's all vanish, they battle to put food on the table let alone the simple basic items such as sweet chilli sauce. All the best expat staff has gone leaving the locals who have nowhere to go as they are less skilled. The lady at the bar who seems to be the manager is just a place holder, cannot even communicate fluently and is very unprofessional. I can go on and on and on ......I will never visit this place again

We also understand that our menu may have evolved since your last visit. While change can sometimes differ from personal expectations, our Executive Chef and his team remain deeply committed to delivering high-quality cuisine and take great pride in every dish presented.
As a sub-tropical beachfront property, ongoing maintenance is a constant focus, and we continue to invest in the upkeep and enhancement of the resort to ensure it retains the charm our guests know and love.
We genuinely regret that this stay did not reflect the White Pearl experience you remember, and we would welcome the opportunity to reconnect with you directly and retain you as our valued guest.
