Lunamar Hotel

Lunamar is one of the better quality hotels in Beira. Free parking. Pleasant checkin in. Visa credit card accepted. Some rooms are fully renovated. Bar. Swimming pool. Conference centre. Functions space on three floors. In house bakery cooking beautiful pastries every day. Five minutes walk from the sea and nice beach to walk along!

My stay was from disappointment to disappointment.

An experience to forget and never recommend. I practically felt ripped off and it was a total disappointment. I don't know what standard the hotel is following, but I've never seen anything that identifies it. I've stayed in this same hotel in the past and it's nothing like what I knew. I definitely don't recommend it to anyone.

Lunamar Beira

Lunamar hotel is located walking distance to the beach and has a lovely bakery that is part of the hotel in the all day din8ng restaurant. Pleasant English speaking staff. Good steady wifi good enough for zoom, teams etc. Pool bar open til late.

Not Recommended

I was there for work and noticed how this hotel had a lot of issues. It might be good for a one night stay but surely not for long. The rooms are very stuffy, it is almost modly. The keycards open any room, the lock on the roadside is not one of its best, it is a bit worrying. I never had access to the wifi. The TV has an issue if it is idle it will turn off, as it is manned from the main place (whatever that is). I however think the food was good, but they take very long to bring it back - you can go an hour waiting for your order. I was "kicked out", the communication is bad. The service is friendly but unprofessional.

Business Visit To Beira - Stay at Lunamar

Lunamar is a very nice hotel considering what Beira has to offer. The staff is very friendly and always go that extra mile for you.
Having a restaurant just on the other side of the car park is very convenient and the food is quite good.
Only concern I have is the language problem. Not all the people are fluent in English and as Beira becomes more and more popular this is something the staff should get to grips with.
