restful clean quiet

pleasant drm an rooms. staff helpful. i arrived at 3am an they put me in bunk room. i checked in at 2pm an was not charged for my 8 hour nap. i did have a booking. restaurants nearby. stayed 2days. they helped me get boat ticket for trip to mandalay. tired of bus trips on narrow bumpy roads

Unfortunately this hostel doesn’t work. So i have stayed the hotel in front of this hostel, called “little bit Bagan hotel” nice reception meeting, nice rooms, good stuff.

Not a 1st option

Service was courteous, welcoming and staff always smiled and greeted us.
Location is very good
Mattresses are confortable
Sink in the bathroom had a leaking pipe, so all the water went on to the bathroom floor.
No sheets were o the bed for us to cover ourselves with, except for the blankets.
No towels in the room.
Very simple breakfast, only bread and jam.
Room door is a window door, with a partial curtain, so privacy is not so certain

Basic Good Hostle

We stayed in the 10 Bed Dorm:
A lot of space, good beds, bright rooms, normal breakfast with better marmalade than normally, very freindly Host, good eBikes from the Hostel(but only until 7pm)
We didn't like the bathroom situation:
Wet and not enough bathrooms... but I think that is mostly standard in SEA

Good hostel

This is a good hostel, but maybe a bit far from the main area of temples and restaurants. However if you take an ebike or taxi they aren't far away.
I actually went to this hostel by mistake, I was booked for their sister hostel. However the staff were great and just accepted me here without any issue and even let me check in early for no extra charge. The dorm was cool, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also pretty good too.
