What you pay for

This place is relatively close to the airport: 15 minutes in the evening. Less so in the morning: on Saturday, staff advised leaving an hour earlier than I had assumed but it still took 15 minutes. Maybe on another Saturday morning it wouldn't. Who can say?
The taxi, which I thought was a free shuttle, requested payment of MMK 6000, which was reasonable, and I added a tip because he was so nice.
The room was fine, demonstrating the usual Southeast Asian quirks like bedside table that had to be moved a metre to allow the door to open. The AC worked well. There was a large balcony devoid of seating. The shower had controllable temperature. The TV had all sorts of interesting channels.
The in-house massage service was very good. Highly recommended after a long day of travel. In room or for cheaper go to the spa.
Breakfast was excellent: a wide range of foodstuffs in a small space with CNN bothering away in case you didn't want to interact with your phone.
I recommend tipping the bellboy generously. He looks like he hasn't eaten enough.

Value for money, food could be better

Weren't too many mosquitoes, which is a plus; saw them fumigating the exterior one of the days we were there.
Aircon in our room was not functioning too well, it was at 18 deg C but not cold enough to require a blanket (at least for us). On the other hand, the aircon in the dining area was blasting very cold air.
Food wise, the buffet breakfast had a sufficient (don't expect 5* hotel style of course) variety suitable for the foreign palate while also having some local dishes to try. Ordered dinner one of the nights and the noodles were so salty. Noticed some people ordered room service and left plates with noodles, still 90% full outside their rooms for clearing, so it wasn't just us that found the noodles too salty.
In summary, decent and safe place to be staying in your stay that isn't too expensive but provides an acceptable and restful stay.

Okay airport stay

Stayed in this hotel for one night to be close to the airport, good enough for this purpose. Beds were hard for our taste and no toppers available. Usually someone who can help with English if needed. Restaurant fair for evening meal but breakfast not so good. Staff happy to help where they can. Would stay again for this purpose but not for more that a one night stay.

Noodles were a little too salty. That aside, place was clean, no mosquitoes, comfortable stay.
