Good Place to stay on way to Caprivi Strip

Homely and comfortable accommodation run by friendly family. We had several nights at Urban Haus and enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is centrally located (and on a brand new road!).
The owners are happy to share local knowledge and are hospitable and friendly. Our dinner with them was delicious and informal with lots of chatting around the table.
A special thank you to Tjaart who sorted out our mechanical problem with our hire car.

A family away from home

We stayed at the Urban Farmhouse for one night on our way to Divundu and we were really delighted by the warm welcome, the tremendous hospitality and the excellent dinner (together with the family). The rooms were absolutely clean and fully equipped with air con and a supply of 'Peaceful Sleep' and Doom Insect Spray - actually we dind't think there were a lot of moscitos around when we were there, but the awareness to care for their guests in this way is indeed not found very often. However, near the Kavango river you always you need to be careful.
We can really recommend Urban Farmhouse most enthusiastically.

An incredible place

This was my favourite accommodation all over Namibia. The hosts are the friendliest people you could ever imagine and the food we were served was outstandingly good. This place is something special, we felt more like friends than guests and we had the best time here.

Family atmosphere

The nicest and most familiar accommodation of our 4 week Namibia - Botswana tour.
Alda and Tjaart took care of us from the first minute and told a lot about the country and the people. The dinner together in the evening was always a highlight. The beef ribs of Alda on the last night a dream. Thanks for your commitment we look forward to our next Namibia vacation and to seeing you both again

Relaxing and friendly

Absolutely a nice place to sleep in Rundu. We slept very well. Room clean, excellent wifi. We enjoyed coffee and some beers at the pool area. Staf really nice. Dinner was splendid. You eat together with the other guests and the owners which makes a nice and special atmosphere. It was great meeting other travellers and share our experiences. We really enjoyed our stay.
