Great location and great onsite birding

I spent two nights there, upon arrival in Windhoek, and on the evening prior to my departure. The lodge is very conveniently located on the outskirts of Windhoek. It is completely fence for safety and has beautiful gardens and two pools. The rooms are in groups of four, very quiet and comfortable. Everything seems well maintained and the staff was very nice. If, like I do, you love wildlife, birding in the gardens of the lodge is superb!

Waiting for the food in a half empty restaurant for an hour and then being delivered the wrong food / wine bottle and in the bill still the wrong bottle of wine was not corrected…the place is ok for a stop-over but wouldn’t go there again.

Fijne plek om vakantie te beginnen of te beëindigen

We were here at the beginning and end of the vacation. You can really relax here after a long flight. Nice little houses/rooms. Pool and a very good and not expensive restaurant. Excellent extensive breakfast. Friendly staff.

A good stopover

One should not get lost at night
Charming welcome, the room is well-equipped (lodge), we lack nothing
We found the bedding pleasant
The air conditioning warms or cools us depending on the time of day
You can park your car next to it, which is comfortable
The restaurant: the kindness of the staff is truly pleasant
Wine by the glass, varied menu, reasonable prices
We ate well
