Decent Value Family Hotel / Guesthouse

Interestingly there are two Good Hotels , Two Old Hotels etc in Bandipur I’m guessing the owners opened one then another later. The one I stayed in isn’t the one in the picture it’s the other one but owned by the same people. My run was run by teenagers but despite that was fine. Not the cleanest but the room was decent facing the back is best as it quieter and the views are great. Foods ok like most places in the village. The bed was remarkably comfortable. Value I would say was excellent.
Only issue would say as it’s solar heated the showers are cold when there’s no sun and the weather was awful when I was there.
It’s in a pedestrian zone so you or whoever will need to carry your bag a long way. Overall good value for money

Anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced room, very comfy bed and friendly staff should stay here. Stayed in a room with sunrise views and the hotel is perfectly situated near nice cafes and restaurants. We didn't get to eat here but some other tourists mentioned the food was great. I would recommend staying here, especially if you don't want to pay 7000rupes like some of the hotels across the road. They were happy to do our laundry, they had fast internet, and one of the nicest bathrooms we found in this price range.

Not a resort and plenty of room for improvement

Good Hotel and Resort is definitely NOT a resort, there is no garden, no pool, no ATM machine and limited service.
Food in the restaurant is good, but there is not always staff available to cook. Certainly not 24 hour room service as the place goes to sleep at 9:00 pm.
Room was o.k with nice vista, and good bedding. TV did not work, many cobwebs, dirty spots and holes in the walls. Bathroom was spacious but needs better cleaning as well.
There are many little hotels in Bandipur and not so many visitors, so there are many choices. We pick another hotel next time.
