Beautiful resort

As soon as we stepped in the resort, we felt like home. We were amazed by the beautiful traditional buildings and how cozy they were. The atmosphere was calm and perfectly relaxing after a long day of kayaking.
The sleeping rooms were clean, close to the main building and we still felt like we had the place just for ourselves.

Ideal spot for both seeking for peace and quiet and those wanting to experience best adventures in Nepal.

If you want to wake up with the sound of roaring river that’s the place to go.
Picturesque location, delicious food and the friendliest staff. Rafting experience was simply the best. Guides took great care of us, we had so much fun and adrenaline. All organisation was top-tier.
Thanks to the guys we also had amazing experience to walk around the village and peak into some people’s lives.
This place is perfect for either totally chill and relaxed stay or some adventure that you can experience while kayaking and rafting with the best team. Amazing place if you want to get close to Nepal nature.
Highly recommended.

Our First Visit to River’s Edge Resort

After a long journey through Tibet and spending a few nights in busy Kathmandu, we were looking for a peaceful yet adventurous retreat surrounded by nature. We wanted a place with lots of greenery, serene surroundings, and the soothing sound of the river. River’s Edge Resort provided exactly that.
When we arrived at this little sanctuary, we were quite hungry, and the friendly staff quickly offered us a delicious dinner. They took great care of us, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout our stay.
The next day, after a lovely breakfast, we enjoyed a pleasant walk near a nearby village, where we met some locals and interacted with children on their way to school. It was a wonderful way to experience the local culture.
One of the highlights of our trip was the rafting experience. It was one of the best activities I’ve done in Nepal, and it ended perfectly with lunch on the riverbank. The rafting guides were professional, and I felt very safe and well looked after during the entire trip.
We chose this place because of the beautiful surroundings and the chance to go rafting. The reviews on TripAdvisor helped us decide, and we’re so glad we gave it a try. We had a great time, and if we return to Nepal, we would definitely stay here again.

Little paradise on the river

The location of the lodge between the two rivers is amazing. Great view of the river, mountains, and nature. Our room was very nice and furnished with a lot of love and an eye for the detail. The garden with the small traditional houses is like a little paradise.
Sali and his team were very welcoming and fun to hang around.
The rafting trip was awesome, a great experience, and was very professionally organized.

Volunteered at this awesome place

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. If you’re a nature lover or just want something different to boring old hotels this is 100% the place for you. The staff here are incredible people and really go out of there way to accommodate for you and show you their culture. A friend and I stayed here for 3 weeks volunteering and it was such a beautiful experience. We learnt so much and felt incredibly welcomed the whole time. There is also so many opportunities to do different activities here such as rafting and kayaking which they can organise for you, a whole lot of fun. Somewhere I would definitely come back to and brings friends and family!
