Beautiful place to stay.

Hotel ambience is nice. Service was excellent. Food was so delicious thanks to chef for delicious dishes. Staffs were very helpful and hotel manager was cheerful and professional. But no mountain view so sad...overall stay was superb.
Top floor room is best to stay. One night stay is perfect to spend weekend.

pretty different scenario

I booked for a standard room via booking.com and when I reached the hotel, it was empty. A guy showed up after a while and took us to another house some 2-3 buildings away from the main hotel building shown in the booking site. This building was a residential house with construction going on and a strong smell of the paints. That space didn't look like a hotel, and many construction workers are living there too. I felt very unsecured about staying there. Later on, the guy took us back to the main building. We stayed there, the room was good, and we didn't experience any hospitality. When we checked out, the hotel charged us more money than the amount shown in booking.com because he said I upgraded. I was not a good experience.

A pleasant stay

I stayed there for one night only to explore the area a bit. The hotel is nicely decorated and the highlight is its staff - they are polite and accommodating. The food is reasonably priced and very good. Coffee was the best! We were able too check in early and it was great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You have everything you need - the one on the very top just below the Spa gets a bit cold and damp, but it was fine.
One thing to do is to check breakfast hour, we wanted to leave early and discovered at 7 am that no one was there and on top of that we were locked in the hotel - not the best idea thinking about safety regulations - we basically could not leave - so make sure you arrange your departure with staff, or if you want an early/sunrise trek.

Lovely little hotel with amazing staff

The staff here are incredibly hospitable. When we arrived, they brought us some coffee to welcome us to the place. We were here on a work trip and they provided a meeting room free of charge, which has never happened to me before. They serve wonderful food (including a very nice selection of breakfasts). The bedroom itself was big and clean and the wifi worked really well for the duration of the stay. It was also very easy to arrange a hotel car to Kathmandu. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dhulikhel.

Clean, good food - hot water a bit unreliable

We've stayed here twice. Each time, the hot water hasn't worked. Finally we 'complained' and amazingly that evening the hot water worked and was boiling hot. Apparently the hotel has solar (doesn't seem to work well!) and electric heating......and it seems they only switch the electric heating on if you actually ask for it to be turned on!
The TV reception is also problematic. Each time they've blamed the clouds for no reception when we 'complain'......but then amazingly pretty soon after that the TV in the room has reception.
So, with these 2 minor frustrations overcome - it's a really nice hotel and well equipped.
The food is good, and the service is generally good and very friendly.
Good location, and wifi in room is OK.
