Kathmandu Visit
We visited Kathmandu to go trekking and stayed in the city for a few nights and picked the Arushi for its central location
Perfectly positioned in the hustle and bustle of the town, the room was perfect and very spacious and with a fantastic breakfast and staff that were really polite and very helpful on any request
The perfect place to stay and the roof top terrace and bar on an evening is the perfect place to relax

A nice hotel, but very close to noisy hotels
The room was really nice, very big and with a seperate bath and shower. I did have some issues with the hot water to the shower, but it seemed that if I ran the hot tap in the sink for a while then ran the shower it worked ok. I must say that I forgot to mention this to reception, as I had forgotten about it until now !
My balcony with seating was really nice to sit out in the afternoons.
The only downside to this hotel - or maybe floor 8, is the music from the other hotels, because I was up higher than most of them, it was very loud, and went until 2 or 3am all 3 nights that I stayed. If you were downstairs, approaching the hotel you could not hear it, and then up on the 8th you could, as if it was close, although it was not coming from the Arushi. I did not mention this to the hotel because I don't see that they will be able to do anything about it. It did not bother me, although it may bother a light sleeper.
Im guessing if you ask for a lower floor it wont matter. This was a lovely place despite that, and was near lots of food places. I would stay here again if I come back to Katmandu.
