On their restaurant, great venue and location, clean, tasty and aromatic dishes - well spiced and seasoned, delicious.

We didn't stay here but ate @their rooftop resraurant.
Went in for same day laundry services, and innkeeper raved about their food, (esp. their best mo:mos in Thamel) @their rooftop restaurant.
So wife and I went for dinner that heavy rainy night. We ordered the mo:mos, fried chowmein, fish fry and veg curry with chapati. All the food and sauces were well seasoned and rounded, adequatey spiced, tasty and aromatic - in short, innkeeper was correct. Place was clean and had a nice open rooftop area with a great view, though due to the heavy rain, we sat@the covered section.
And the prices? Value for money. They can do with more marketing of their food, value and restaurant location - recommended.

Best hotel in Thamel area. Rooms are very quiet and nice. Roof top restaurant is amazing food is good. Staffs are very nice and helpful.

Such a Pleasant and Comfortable Experience

Backpackers Lodge is a wonderful place for travelers. The location is very convenient, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, and the pricing is very reasonable. The host is kind, professional, and extremely helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this lodge to others.
