Simple hotel in Thamel

Very simple hotel with old rooms and little maintenance.
It has a good location. Breakfast is basic.

An oasis

As others have said, this place is a veritable oasis in a sea of madness that us Thamel.
Set back from the road this place has lovely clean and newly appointed rooms, hit water a plenty and a calming beer garden. Plus beer!
Breakfast is good and the staff are super friendly.
Highly recommended.

A True Gem in Kathmandu

I had the best experience at Thamel Eco Resort .I received first-class service from the moment I arrived. Exceptional hospitality, elegant rooms, and safe and secure environment were the best parts. Thank you so much for making my trip memorable

My cinnamon did not meet a 3 star standard in Kathmandu

The standard of my room was 0 stars. Not a drop of hot or warm water to shower, bed linen was not changed after the last guest, hair and stains in bed, room door to courtyard not safe to lock, unpleasant smell in the room, no light/light switch on the bed, very noisy. This is not a 3 star hotel in Kathmandu. Disrespectful to give a guest such a room for not little money although there are also better (free)
Room in the house would have given. However, I was cheated of it. No insight, no apology and no accommodation from the boss. My Nepalese trekking agency was also treated very dismissively.
Too bad!
