Fantastic Experience

So much to love about our stay: the conversations with our hosts, the food they cooked for dinner and breakfast, the coffee, the rooms, the view. We've been traveling for 8 weeks. This was the most memorable and wonderful stay... It's not even close. Thank you Kusu and Bharat for the amazing experience and cultural exchange. We're looking forward to seeing you again, hopefully sooner than later ! ❤️

Beautiful stay

The most stunning house. Views from the roof top of the Himalayan peaks are incredible. The family who own the guest house are very hospitable and will cook lovely fresh food (grown in the garden) everyday! Rooms were very comfortable with solar heated showers and fans. You really feel at home here.

Fabulous experience !

Peaceful place with a beautiful garden, on top of a foresty hill, great views at 360 of the surrounding lakes and mountains. Very clean room and private bathroom. Tasty quality food. Kind hosts. Excellent price for the quality of the stay. Well worth the detour

Tranquil Himalayan foothill hideaway

I stumbled across this place in 2010 while walking back to Pokhara from the far end of Begnas Tal. Unfortunately, my schedule meant I was only able to stay for one night, but I always planned to return.
Fast forward to 2020. Serious snowfall forced me to turn around while trekking in the Manang area. After an exhausting few days of breaking trail in deep snow, followed by some hot and dusty days lower down as we tacked West towards Begnas, I once again stumbled across the sign to Rupa View Guest House.
This time I was able to rest and relax for a few days. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The water is hot - so long as you time it right (solar). The food is fresh and delicious, particularly the fish curry.
It's location, 50m down a track through the forest, is perfect. Surrounded by rolling misty foothill country, with flashes of the fluorescent feathers of subtropical bird life all around and snowcapped peaks in the background.
The pace of life seems peaceful, and I whiled away a blissful few days here, lying in the garden listening to Test Match Special mainly!
Highly recommended.
As a side note, and because it seems not to have a TripAdvisor entry yet, I'd also recommend one of their near neighbors - 'Uncle's Place/House' as a nice sunny spot for an afternoon drink. Up on the ridge across the main road from Rupa View, it's a new place specialising in fresh fruit juices. Coffee is good too, though currently he's brewing it in a mocha pot while saving up to buy a machine! No nonsense well priced snacks. Lovely guy.

Homely environment

I got chance to stay here.very quite surrounding.best view of rupa lake and mountains.open terrace green everywhere.good food and cooperative people is best thing of this place.i do yoga here wonderful experience.thank u
