Amazing

Currently I am leaving in Mohan Shrestha home, City View homestay +9779847028885 in Tansen (Palpa district). And I wanted to share my experience because It's not only a nice place to stay due to the location for visiting (1 minute walking from the central place of the village Sitalpati), it's also a very nice and welcoming family who is taking care of us as guests and amazing exchange times.
Mr Mohan is also the dynamic responsible of GETUP association and trekking guide so if you are interested on that he is the good person as well
Come to Tansen this is a very non touristic place and small traditional village up to Kali Gandaki river very charming area!

Decent

This is a clean but basic homestay in a quaint little town on top of the hill. Mr. Man Mohan Shreshta - the owner is a good host and a known person in town who is extremely knowledgeable, too . The only problem is the steep walk from the Bus Park and even the town centre i.e. Palpa Durbar and Sitalpati/Gol Ghar.

Family friendly home stay

We enjoyed our stay for one night. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely family dinner meal and a tasty breakfast. We enjoyed talking to the family. Comfortable rooms with great views. We enjoyed sharing and conversation with Aujeni (spelling?) and her father and mother.

A delightful stay in a charming hill station town

The City View Guesthouse in Tansen is one of those little gems that one finds off the beaten track.
The rooms are simple, very clean and functional with sola hot water and located just around the corner from an excellent bakery and several good restaurants. Man-Mohan is a wonderful host and his daughter Jeni, is utterly charming. Breakfast or a coffee on the rooftop terrace is a must. City View is featured consistently in the LP Guide and can be booked easily online.
Tansen is a delightful hill station packed full of traditional architecture and relaxing things to do. Highly recommended.
