Good for a night stay

We stayed there for a night and out experience was good. Room and bed were cleaned and comfortable. Only cons was there was not hot water at that time. Breakfast provided by hotel was awesome. And their customers service was good.

Welcoming but not good value

Laxmi homestay is up a very steep road, as is the majority of so called budget guest houses. We paid 1000 for a very small room with tiny bathroom. The bathroom was so small you would have had to hug the pipes if you wanted a shower. Laxmi has no generator so if the power goes off you are in total darkness. It's a real shock if you have arrived from Pokhara where a better room will be half the price. Restaurants around are expensive and poor quality. Laxmi and her family though are very helpful and friendly and most guest houses around are just as expensive.

Budget Stay.

Budget homestay with excellent service. Very friendly people and clean rooms along with hot water, good food and a nice terrace with a city view. Couldn't ask for more than what I paid. Totally recommended.

Nuit en immersion

Bel accueil par un sympathique couple, nous y avons bien mangé, et un peu échangé, malgré mon anglais rudimentaire. Adresse plutôt centrale dans cette cité peu touristique. Le lapin blanc est très marrant !
