Excellent place to stay for us: we cycled the tour Alkmaar-Zaandam-Volendam - Hoorn- Alkmaar.
The stay was top: nice room, good and big shower, nice beds and delicious breakfast.
Large parking garage , also suitable for bicycles .
Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was about 2 kilometers away from the center.

Wat leuk om te lezen dat ons hotel een fijne uitvalsbasis was tijdens uw fietstocht langs Alkmaar, Zaandam, Volendam en Hoorn.
Fijn dat u heeft genoten van de comfortabele kamer, de ruime douche, de heerlijke bedden en ons uitgebreide ontbijt. Ook zijn we blij dat de parkeergarage, inclusief de mogelijkheid om fietsen te stallen, goed van pas kwam tijdens uw verblijf.
Uw complimenten over de vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid van ons team geven we met veel plezier door aan onze collega's.
Wij hopen u in de toekomst nog eens te mogen verwelkomen voor een volgende fietstocht of een bezoek aan Alkmaar.

Our reserved room was unfortunately forgiven.
Danique from the reception has done her very best.
We came out even better, a top room. Despite a queue at check-in, she remained professional and did not let herself be fooled and came up with a nice and good solution.

Wat vervelend dat uw gereserveerde kamer bij aankomst helaas niet beschikbaar was. We begrijpen dat dit niet de start van uw verblijf is waarop u rekent.

The family room was a great size with 4 single beds and plenty of storage space.
The free onsite parking was very helpful (and the underground parking useful on the first evening when there was a big match at the football ground nearby).
It wasn’t entirely clear from our Expedia booking that our rate was room only, so I was a little surprised to need to pay for breakfast on our first morning - this was very tasty but quite pricy!

Beautiful junior suite -overall impression of the hotel so lala
We were greeted warmly and received an upgrade with surprise right at the beginning. We were allowed to spend our weekend in the junior suite with its own bathtub. That was very pleasing, of course. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed comfortable. However, the TV was only convenient for a few German programs. The air conditioning kept starting, even though we didn't want to.
The restaurant on site was chic and has delicious food and wine on offer. The overall impression of the hotel was unfortunately a bit old. Carpets in the hallway, glass blocks in the staircase. It's a snack vending machine you suspect in youth hostels.
There is a sauna and fitness room. However, these are located in the basement right next to the underground car park. Spa, I don't think so.
The location of the hotel is convenient -close to the highway. However, 30 minutes walk from downtown.
In short: we were satisfied. Everything was fine. But we wouldn't make an uncanny recommendation.

Diese Zimmer sind sehr luxuriös und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die sich ein Gast nur wünschen kann.
Die Klimaanlage ist ein intelligentes System, das die Temperatur im Zimmer misst. Wenn es zu warm wird, schaltet sie sich automatisch ein, um die Temperatur wieder zu senken (im Sommer). Wenn es draußen kälter wird, schaltet sie sich hingegen ein, um zu heizen :)!
Selbstverständlich können wir diese jederzeit manuell für Sie ausschalten, wir hätten Ihnen gerne dabei geholfen, denn wir verstehen, dass nicht jeder Gast eine Klimaanlage mag.
Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Sie auch unser neues Restaurant BLOOM ausprobiert haben, und Ihr Feedback wird sehr geschätzt.
