Room was comfortable, simple check-in and checkout and communication was superb. Also appreciated the completely water and snacks in the room.

The food is average. The ordered schnitzel was not a fresh schnitzel from the butcher after our idea baked in frying. The atmosphere was mediocre but this jwam due to a very noisy large group coming in.

Good choice for a stay in Alkmaar

Stayed here for one night last Saturday.
We arrived early but were able to check in early which was handy. All the staff we met were welcoming and friendly too.
We were in room 2 which was decent size for the two of us. The room was nicely decorated with real plants too. We had tea and coffee in the room, along with complimentary snacks, water and soft drinks which was a nice touch.
Plenty of wardrobe space and there was also a room safe.
We weren't bothered by noise from other guests during our stay. You do hear the church bells, but it didn't bother us and earplugs are provided if you need them.
The hotel is in a good location near bars, shops, restaurants and the cheese museum. It was only about 20 minutes walk to the train station too.
A good choice.
