Spacious campsite located in Amsterdamse Bos

Great campsite, staff is very friendly. Spacious camping- lots of sanitary facilities / multiple buildings- location is top , bathes the Amsterdam forest , it is really beautiful, many rabbits walk in the park + various birds- when in the evening all the lights and lights turn on it is very nice experience to take a walk over the park- are also good bikes for rent 14 kilometers bikes and you are in the center of Amsterdam.
Recommended this campsite!!!

Solid camping

Solid camping with all the necessary facilities. About an hour from the city center with public transport. Big camping place. Decent store.

Either We Got Lucky or the Other Reviews Stayed Somewhere Else

Don't let some of the other reviews put you off, because we had a great stay here and would happily return.
The location worked really well for us. While it's not right in the centre of Amsterdam, it was easy to get around. We found the quickest and most convenient way into Amsterdam Central was by Uber, which typically cost around €30, although prices varied depending on the time of day and demand.
The atmosphere around the park was relaxed and peaceful. It felt like a nice place to return to after a busy day exploring the city, offering a quieter alternative to staying in the centre.
The value for money was very good, especially considering the standard of the accommodation and facilities available on site. We stayed in one of the small houses rather than camping, and it provided everything we needed for our trip.
The accommodation was clean, modern, and well maintained. The beds do need to be made up yourself on arrival, but that really wasn't an issue and only took a few minutes.
Although we had our own facilities, there were five of us staying together, so we often used the communal shower and toilet block to speed things up when getting ready. The facilities were excellent, always clean, and the showers were consistently hot. I particularly appreciated that a squeegee was provided so guests could clean away any mud or dirt from the shower floor after use, helping to keep the facilities tidy for everyone.
The site was generally quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep after long days spent exploring Amsterdam. We didn't experience any issues with noise during our stay.
The amenities were well maintained and practical, and from what we saw, the camping facilities looked excellent too. Even though we weren't camping ourselves, the pitches and camping areas appeared well cared for and made us think we'd happily return to try the campsite side of the park in the future.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The accommodation was comfortable, the communal facilities were clean and modern, and the location provided a good balance between easy access to Amsterdam and a quieter place to relax at the end of the day. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable base for exploring the city.
** The free wifi onsite was really good btw!

Fine park, sanitary filthy

Park is fine. The website says that tent pitches are also suitable for caravans but these pitches are tight. 4 meter caravan is actually the max. Friendly staff. Sanitary really very dirty. Toilets are not cleaned properly and in the showers lots of hair and other dirt. Men didn't have hot water. Camping shop is fine and tasty fresh bread rolls in the morning.

That wasn't the place.

It was a used campsite, cleanliness was a challenge and cleanliness was not much of it. There was overbought visit by the local vagabond and it was not a pleasant experience prices were further something high for what you get, transportation to the center is by taxi bus is too big a challenge.
