Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Posthoorn very much. Francois was an excellent host that brought breakfast to our room each morning at the exact time we had requested. At this time Francois would answer any questions we may have had about our plans for the day. Breakfast was always more than adequate and our room was cleaned daily. The Posthoorn was close to Westerpark where I ran each morning and we liked Lucca Due Cafe that was very close. Amsterdam Central was an easy 20 minute walk for day trips to nearby towns or a trip to the airport. Stepping out of the Posthoorn we were in the heart of Amsterdam with its iconic canals and bicycles. We found Amsterdam to be a very special place and the Posthoorn made it even more special.

A very pleasant guesthouse at all levels, ideally located for visiting Amsterdam on foot. A big thank you to François for his warm welcome and valuable advice that contributed to the success of our stay.

Elegance and friendliness

We came to Amsterdam for a few days for our wedding anniversary and our stay was made quite charming thanks to the Posthoorn and the welcome of François, its host, a French too! He shared with us his passion for his adopted hometown. Ideal location and elegant rooms. Perfect for "young old" lovers!

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Amsterdam. The location is absolutely excellent—everything is within walking distance, which made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. The room was nicely decorated, very comfortable, and clean. Housekeeping was done daily and always to a high standard.
Francois was an outstanding host: welcoming, attentive, and always happy to offer great advice and recommendations. His helpfulness and service truly made the stay even better. We would highly recommend this B&B and would happily stay here again.

Great B&B in amazing location

Great B&B in a fantastic location, at the iconic intersection of the Prinsengracht and Brouwersgracht. Room is very comfortable and nicely furnished.
