Great budget hotel to stay whilst exploring Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and helpful. Staff were constantly cleaning the communal areas. Like I said it’s on the lower end of prices for hotels but its location is superb. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to Lidl and Albert Hein and a 9 minute walk to the metro.

Check in (self) is to detailed. Good breakfast. Room was cleaned when I arrived, but even though I had placed the "please make up this room" sign outside at 10:00 the second day - it had not been cleaned by 16:00.
Terrible noisy and not to efficent A/C in room, I had to sleep with "ear" plugs (but still heard it).
Expensive parking (EUR 25/day), but advise to use for safety even though there is a lot of street parking.
Not the best area to walk through at nigh (to/from the tram) - even at daytime a lot of people drinking, smoking and taking drugs at the street (never walk alone!)

I thought the hotel was near to airport and trams were about 5 min walk.. very convenient location.. check in was easy and straightforward and staff was pleasant.

Room cleanliness was satisfactory, we had problems with dirty sheets but the manager was straight on it and had everything changed.
Staff were lovely especially the female manager she was extremely friendly and we chatted everyday about what we had been doing!
Breakfast buffet was lovely.
There is a small gym which is great for the kids in the evening.
Could definitely do with something for children within the hotel. There is only a pizza machine (which is nice) and a vendor machine with sweets and drinks which was quite expensive. Other food options would be great.
It would be good if the restaurant was open for dinner and seems like such a wasted space.
The area is a little run down but 15 mins on the metro which is a 5 minute walk away and you are in the city which worked well for us.
Overall i would return again.

Room was very basic step into bathroom no sign to warn you, decor was very tired, no plug socket near mirror so difficult to use hair straightener,
Lift directly across from room broken doors continuously opening and closing all night.
