Wonderful stay – Perfect mix of peace and city life!

My stay was just great! The hostess was incredibly helpful, always available and always had valuable tips for my stay in Amsterdam. You can tell immediately that she takes care of her guests with a lot of love!
The room was perfectly equipped – I was particularly enthusiastic about the selection of coffees and teas available at all times. A great extra that made your stay even more comfortable! Everything was spotlessly clean and decorated with great attention to detail, so you feel right at home. The absolute highlight: The bed – just a dream! So comfortable that I would have preferred to stay longer.
Also the location is ideal: Located in a quiet, beautiful street – and yet you can walk to the train station in a few minutes and right in the lively centre of Amsterdam. Perfect for those who appreciate both lively city life and relaxed accommodation.
I can recommend this guesthouse without restriction and would love to come back! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Lovely rooms, fabulous location.

Stayed here for a few days this week. Absolutely lovely. Great location, 10 minute wander to get to the Centre, but far enough away that there was no noise or crowds near the hotel. Really nice room, very comfy bed, plenty of towels and very clean. Owners very friendly and helpful. For reasonably priced city centre accommodation it was very comfortable and felt very safe. Because it’s rooms rented out in a large house it feels more homely than a hotel and you don’t get the noise from other drunken guests walking past your room in the middle of the night. Will definitely be booking again.

Stay somewhere else if you want to be at a hotel, this isn’t it

The most important thing to know is that this is not a hotel. It is a minimalist and extremely overpriced Airbnb at best. It is a room with a bathroom and shower. The owner, who is very nice did say there was some sidewalk construction. That does not cover it. A taxi was unable to reach the building and we ended up coming down an alley nearby street. It is in a small residential building on the street, which is completely completely torn up at the moment for construction. It was extremely difficult to access. Our second floor room was reachable only by a tight spiral staircase. This is typical for the small houses in Amsterdam, but not helpful if you’re carrying suitcases. I would’ve given one star, but it was very clean. While the owner was very pleasant, she was not very responsive. In addition, the booking company was also not responsive to our concerns.

very loud cellar room without heating in the bathroom and very unfriendly owner

very loud cellar room without heating in the bathroom and very unfriendly owner. the room is under the street / pathway level and you hear every step, every car outside ... it is dark, very cold (no heating in the bathroom with frozen tiles!), lots of mosquitos and moths and very loud. no closet, no plugs next or close to the bed, no drinking water .. nothing. the ceiling height is under 1,85 meters in the toilet as I had had to duck my head. this is an airbnb on a low ikea level, but not a hotel room for 220,-- / night ... there's no reception, nobody opens the door when you ring and they ignore their room description as it is officially not done by them, but by booking.com ... very unprofessionel, very unpolite ...stay away !
