We arrived with two young children and a lot of luggage, and despite the road closure, we had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The service went above and beyond our expectations.
Esther at reception was warm, welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful. The other reception staff were also wonderful, friendly, and attentive. The entire team helped us with our luggage and belongings from the beginning of the street, and everyone was so kind and welcoming to both us and our children.
The hotel itself is clean, beautiful, and comfortable, and our room was lovely and pleasant.
The breakfast was amazing — everything was fresh, delicious, and there was a great variety of options.
We would be very happy to return and highly recommend this hotel. Highly recommended!

Stunning
Perfect location, beautiful atmosphere. Rooms spotless, spacious and very comfortable bed. Great value for money. Unfortunately there was tram works outside but they didn't cause too much annoyance. Service was very efficient. .
We really enjoyed our stay at The Manor and if ever the occasion arises again, we'll definitely be staying here

A very welcoming hotel
Most noticeable is the friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble for this great team. The hotel is efficiently run, has lovely big rooms and bathrooms with great showers.
Location is normally very good to get into midtown by tram (works ongoing at the moment) and to get to or from the airport by train.
A slight modern twist is an area in the lobby where you can pick up drinks snacks or the unusual souvenir should you feel the need.
Not overly ostentatious as the outside might suggest, but a great place to stay when visiting this lovely city. We would coma agin in a heartbeat

It sounds like you discovered one of the best things about staying at The Manor Amsterdam, - the chance to enjoy a quieter, more local side of the city while still being so close to everything.
And indeed then there is Oosterpark, just around the corner from us. It was Amsterdam’s first public park and remains one of the real diamonds of the East, - a beautiful green escape right on our doorstep. Perhaps that makes The Manor itself a true pearl of Amsterdam East!
From nearby Muiderpoort, it is just one train stop to Amsterdam Centraal, and suddenly you are in the very heart of Amsterdam. The centre can be wonderfully lively, of course, although sometimes perhaps a little too lively, noisy and crowded! Back here in the East, you can always breathe again.
