Never again!

Subject: Complaint about treatment and damage during stay at your hotel
During my stay I left my sunglasses in the room. When we checked out and were on our way home, I was surprised to see that the gold logos had been removed from my sunglasses. I have photos that show that these were still on just before departure. The sunglasses have not left the room and have been exclusively in the locked hotel room during my stay.
After I reported this to the hotel by phone, I immediately faced a lot of resistance. The first lady I spoke to was still willing to have a normal conversation, but the gentleman I got on the phone afterwards – the manager – reacted extremely offensively. He claimed that his relatives do the cleaning and that they would never have done this. He then began to make derogatory comparisons, including comparing my sunglasses to those of his wife, and made several absurd statements. The conversation was so unpleasant that I had to end it.
To my great surprise, I was then called back by the same gentleman, who left a voicemail with extremely unprofessional and threatening language. He literally said that “I will never be able to stay in a hotel again in Arcen and the surrounding area” and that he would put in his system that I made an unjustified accusation. These kinds of statements are absolutely unacceptable, especially coming from someone in a leadership position. I have saved this voicemail.
I am shocked not only by the damage to my property, but especially by the way I have been treated by your employees. As a loyal Customer who had been staying with you for years, I expected a respectful and professional handling. Instead, I have been treated derogatory and even threatened.

A very “special” customer treatment!

We ate today in the hotel/restaurant with 6 people. An experience of a very special kind!
6 food were ordered ; also 2x schnitzel .
5 Food was OK, mine (schnitzel) was inedible.
The schnitzel was tough and smelled very unpleasant.
I couldn't eat it and I complained.
The boss arrived with a swollen chest and a clearly irritated speech.
What would I have?
He tried the schnitzel and thinks it's perfect! Last week he made 300 schnitzels and everything was great.
Yeah, last week...
Well, what I mean I had already communicated and have also communicated that I do not want to have a loud conversation anymore. “Happy” I pay for my ordered food and is good. Because that the owner would respond to me in conversation was unfortunately so not discernible.
He tried to show guests and his own staff how to “man’n”
has to deal with unhappy customers.
I'm not sure he did himself and his staff any favors.
He will probably not be able to explain this to us in the future.
Having someone call you names, after a complaint you certainly don't have to complain.
Pride comes before the fall!
The recessions and subsequent responses by the managing director - especially after a critical assessment has been made - are, I think, already very “special”.

Prima

Great hotel in the center of Arcen. Great room with nice beds. Bathroom is a bit outdated, but sufficient. The disadvantage of the rooms on the front / square side is the always cozy Town Hall Square. With a bit of bad luck it is very noisy until late at night. Disadvantage is that the bar / restaurant closes already at 22:00.

very poor sleep and back pain caused by it

Never slept so badly, mattress was on .
experienced this a year earlier when we were told they were working on it.
A year later, you can expect the beds to have improved.
Unfortunately, they had only deteriorated.
Not to sleep on so softly that you get out of bed with back pain.
advise everyone before booking to insist that they get a good mattress / bed, at least a renewed bed, to prevent back problems.
When you call this in, you'll be told as the killer, we're working on it.

Very good location
