Near the beach, clean and spacious

The Rasch is a small, family run hotel which is a few minutes' walk from the gorgeous sandy beaches of Bergen aan Zee. We have stayed there twice in a two bedroom apartment which has self catering facilities, though you can have breakfast in the dining room if you prefer. The couple who own it are friendly and speak English, Dutch and German and they can help you out with trips and passes to the dunes nature reserve. The apartment was clean with good facilities though a toaster would have been a good addition. There's a hob, microwave and kettle and plenty of pots and pans plus a dishwasher. The bathroom is nice though the shower doors tend to fall off their tracks! Would definitely stay there again. The beds are very soft, so if you prefer a firm one this may not be for you. Also, you have to make your own beds on arrival - it would have been nice to have that all ready.

disappointing

Stayed 3 nights in the appartment which was clean and well equipped, yet in basement with low ceilings and views on carpark, hence not conducive to a joyful holiday experience, The property is located within close walking distance to the beach, and easy access to biking routes. Overpriced.

Nice for 1 night but not more than that

I would not reccomend this hotel if you plan to stay more than one night.
First of all the owner is not friendly and nice at all , always moody and rude .
Our appartment window handles were so fragile and in a poor state that i was scared to break them .
The fact that you have to make up your own bed in a hotel is just ridicilous !!
If you staying there with children dont leave them alone with the remote control since if they switch channels they can easily acces "Adult Stuff" /18+ channels , and yes children on vacations sometimes do stay late , it is very irresponsible and neglegtive of them to have free acces to such channels and not lock it , thank god it was not my 5 year old daughter but me who found that channel ...
The fact that the owners of the hotel dont respect the night rest of their guest and speaking loudly at 1 Am !! And let their dog bark .
All these reasons mentioned above are why we wont put a foot there ever again !!
The 2 good things are the free parking permit for the public parking lot and the spaciousness of the appartment .

Some fine Rasch hours

Small B&B with a clean and big room for families. Very friendly host and perfectly situated for bikers following bike route 1.

Top Lage

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sehr guten Lage, ruhig gelegen und trotzdem strandnah. Die Zimmer sind sauber, man hat alles was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man hat einen kostenlosen Parkplatz, was für die Region untypisch ist-ein ganz grosser Pluspunkt. Bedankt.
