Dead Ziens? No, thank you.
But still, I couldn't imagine it could be that bad. Especially since the price is correspondingly cheap and the booked “Solo Retreat 4” looked quite new (but very small) in the pictures.
Generally speaking, you have to/can book almost everything for it. Those who need towels or tea towels pay extra. Beds made also cost extra. Actually, nothing for me at all: But the price.....
Let's go back to the beginning: The EuroParc am Zuidersee is located on Flevoland directly on the Veluwemeer near the amusement park Walibi. In addition to countless different accommodations & pitches, there is an indoor swimming pool with slide, an indoor & outdoor playground, bowling alleys, mini golf, an arcade, a supermarket & a restaurant. Classic holiday park, then.
So is the value for money worth it? No, no, no, no, no. No matter how little you pay for it: It's too much.
The park is incredibly unkempt and getting old. Everything has some dents, holes or anything. Besides, it just smells musty everywhere. It doesn't seem like anyone's ever cleaning up anywhere. In the house itself everything is dusty and the sanitary areas full of lime.
Much worse than the catastrophic conditions, however, are all the people here who don't seem to mind.

Great stay - would recommend
It really seems like the parc suffers because most of the negative comments are about the camping part of the site which is close but totally separate to the pavilions etc. They would do themselves a big favour by having two listings on TripAdvisor.
Nearby Elburg is a lovely place with great places to eat and drink. Zwolle is also close and one of the nicest places we’ve been to in NL.
We stayed during Lowlands and it’s great base if you’re planning to do that as part of your trip. There’s a very regular bus festival shuttle running to/from the Parc all day and night - have to pay but not silly money

Yuck!!!! Grubby!!!
However, anyone who wants to spend a nice and relaxing vacation should give this park a wide berth.
We lost three vacation days before we drove on to a small and nice family-run campsite.
EuroParc Zuiderzee: never again!!!!

Park with areas for improvement, but still very nice!
We stayed at Waterlodge 17. This one belongs to a private owner. With a heat wave without air conditioning, this is absolutely impossible to do, so we went home early. The beach around the corner was full of dog poop, because guests do not clean it up and enforcement is very difficult. But the good news is that the other beach is clean! In addition, there are several places nearby to cool off. We went to the Zandenplas. There is a lot to do in the area. We had a wonderful holiday despite the heat. Great park to get away from it all.
