Something different

I can really recommend staying in this old klooster. Friendly service, beautifully decorated and great restaurant. It is within walking distance to the station, shops and other restaurants. Very helpfully staff

Just good.

The hotel location is 5 minutes walk from train station, used to be a cloister, now is a hotel, the rooms are small, clean but it conserves the old style. Beds were very umconfortable, same with the pillows.
Breakfast does not have too much options, and there is no changes in the offer from one day to another.
The bar and the restorant was very good, but also very expensive.
I would not come back again, but if you like to live in an old construction with lot of history, you will enjoy your stay.

Magical place !

The serenity of an ancient monastery, with the modern comfort ! The decoration is a perfect combination between what was kept from the past monastery, and what was added in modern style. Delightful atmosphere.
Good cuisine, and last but not least, very nice personnel. I highly recommend this beautiful and unique place.

Beautifully restored piece of history

We stayed for 5 days. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with friendly helpful staff, and the best dinner ever. We also enjoyed a beer at the bar from the Klooster's old recipe. We used Boxmeer as a homebase to visit areas other than Amsterdam. We went to Maastricht, Hoge Veluwe, Utrecht, Nijmegen, and spent a day or two cycling around the Maas River. The mystery of the Klooster is very real. There are beautiful gardens inside the walls and the building is beautifully restored. Unlike any other place.

One night at the kloster

I stayed one night due to business at the elsendael
I was a great and different experience
First off staff is great very helpful and positive
The rooms are old nunes rooms so they are small but nicely decorated bath and shower are good internet connections WiFi is fast and working even in the park
I slept very good and would come back
It is an interesting experience as it was an old kloster very quiet with park and so on
