Liked the hotel, stayed here last year for the 4Daagse but thought dinner was a little pricey this time as hadn't included it in the booking.

hotel fine but time dinner very long and breakfast everyone could go through without paying

1430 hours arrived, room not ready yet. fine we wait a while.
1500 hours room ready and pass room received.
Arrangement for dinner and breakfast was booked. Whether we could pay equally, yes no problem. In the evening around 1845 hours to restaurant to do dinner. Have you made a reservation? No, did you have to? Yeah, I said neat wasn't told us at check-in. There is no place until 8pm you will have to wait. I didn't say this dick I should have been told this at check-in. Friendly staff Reception arranged that we could enter directly into restaurant. I know it was busy in restaurant and the staff tried very hard with everything. But between courses we have to wait an hour. So 3 course dinner of 3 hours we thought was a bit long. Breakfast room in the morning was not checked in room nr for those who had paid and also afterwards there was no payment by people. Everyone could just use this buffet, you could just walk through.
This surprised us a lot!

An unpleasant experience

If the rooms do not have air conditioning, the hotel must take smart measures to keep the rooms as cool as possible. Room facing south had the curtains open on arrival which made it even more heated by the sun. Apparently installing air conditioning in the conference room was more important than in the rooms.
The rooms look renovated not too long ago and have been given a new toilet and bathroom but nobody thought you could need a sink in the toilet to wash your hands. The rooms are advertised as 3 person rooms but the 3rd bed is nothing but a camp bed. They'll never see us here again.

It wasn't too bad

Booked with voucher Holiday Auctions. Hotel wasn't too bad. We were in room 166 and this one looked pretty good. Clean and not worn. Too bad the shower only has half a screen so you have to beware of a water ballet. Remarkable though: no elevator, so if you have difficulty walking, it's best to book on the ground floor.
Breakfast was fine. Very nice staff. Nice location, nice garden, fairly small outdoor pool with rather cold water.
