A very pleasant hotel in a beautiful setting

On our way to a destination in France we decided to make a stop in the always beautiful South Limburg and on the advice of friends we chose the Berghoeve. This choice has not disappointed us, it is a nicely located hotel near the border. The rooms are spacious and the beds were good. In general it makes a friendly and fresh impression and it is still an authentic family business with the patron in the kitchen and wife Joyce responsible for the hotel part. We have experienced this as very pleasant and we certainly plan to come back here again. We also ate and this was completely fine. We found the salad buffet very well cared for and a nice addition to the dinner. The portions served should be slightly larger. The breakfast buffet was absolutely top notch, and I especially want to mention the freshly cut fruit salad. Even in much more stately and expensive occasions, this often comes from large prefab bags. So not here.
We will definitely come back here again.

Great view, great food, very guest friendly.

Lovely quiet location nice hotel. You can book including dinner. Very good food in a beautiful panorama space with views of the beautiful nature all around. Hospitality a 10. Parking very spacious. Only downside is the room that gets very hot which is neatly solved with a good fan. Perhaps in the future air conditioning or self-coloring windows. Environment very nice for hiking. Overall definitely recommended.

Cold and no correct description of the room

Luxury room booked with walk-in shower NO WALK-IN SHOWER EVEN NO RAIN SHOWER AS MENTIONED
Windows were dirty and seat was dirty too
The room was cold and the heating was not on.
After asking why this was they went to arrange it, but after 1 hour the room was still cold
They knew we arrived at 4pm. We were allowed in our room at 2 pm normally so we were already 2 hours later so time enough to provide the room pleasantly with temperature
The owner felt we had no patience.
And didn't find it necessary to apologize rather that we were wrong with our displeasure didn't bother to offer other room either
So we canceled it.
Sorry a room of 160€ for 1 night must be pleasantly warm in winter on arrival and not freezing and dirty.

What a treat.

It was our first time staying at the Berghoeve.
This is a really great family hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms from standard to luxury with bath (all very clean!) And the dinner is also great (every night a four-course dinner with salad buffet) Also the extensive breakfast buffet is great! The hotel is also super nicely located with a beautiful view. Environment is super to do walks and bike rides. Here really reigns the Limburg Mood and Welcoming! In short, highly recommended if you want to get away a few and discover the area.

A nice stay with a good guest wife and gentleman.

It was for us the first time we stayed at this hotel, we enjoyed it. A friendly welcome by the host.
The rooms are perfect, the breakfast very good and the evening dinner perfect. So worth coming back again for sure.
