Great hotel with great location

Great location with parking right next to the hotel and on the other side there are boat rentals and much more. A short walk from there are all the cozy canals with shops, restaurants etc. Here you get exactly what you see in the pictures. The only negative was a steep staircase to the room that was on the second floor.

Great hotel for a night.

Great hotel for 1 night. Free wifi, not too big but neat room. Prima bed. The wall between room 118 and 120 is very thin, so in the evening, at night and in the morning heard our German neighborhoods . The breakfast morning was very tasty with plenty of choice.

Very nice location for a tourist stay on the banks of the canals.

The location good to visit Giethoorn, close to the canals to visit, accessible and free parking next to the hotel. Good for a day or two. Clean, nice room. The hearty breakfast, the coffee is Top. Check-in/check-out very efficient.

Bare bones and over priced

The hotel was sparse and bare bones when it comes to customer service. It’s a totally electronic check in! We wanted a few extra towels and there was no one to request them from. Price was overpriced for such a bare bones hotel.
They did have some charm with the doors painted like famous Dutch artists.
The restaurant provided a complimentary breakfast for hotel staying guests.
Free parking across the street from the hotel.

Rather not recommended

Unfortunately, I cannot give a good review. On arrival we got a very small room on the ground floor. There it was very dark and smelled very muddy. Since there was no reception there, it was difficult to complain to anyone. Thank God we then found a very helpful cleaner who then provided us with another room. Unfortunately there was a problem with the PIN on the door. However, this was then also clarified.
The room itself was not very large, foam mattresses and very soft. For the price you would have expected something better.
In the evening, the Strim suddenly left. Since no one could be reached we had to use the interior bathroom until the next morning in the dark. The problem was not fixed until around 9 a.m.
Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant. Every time the doors were opened, a cold draft went through the restaurant.
Free parking in front of the hotel was a positive aspect.
