Perfect hotel!

I think The Market is by far the best hotel in the city. It is centrally located, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are modern, clean and well soundproofed, and the breakfast is also nice. We stayed here for two nights and actually couldn't find any downsides. Maybe just a little too short to explore all of Groningen.

Great hotel

Great hotel, nice breakfast dinner area. Comfortable rooms. Only disadvantage is the automatic light on the toilet that also starts during the night waking you up. Parking at Forum parking is closeby

Worth while visiting hotel in the heart of Groningen

Excellent hotel with fantastic and helpful team of staff (cleaning, reception and breakfast and bar). Room with path facing the market was an excellent choice with lively atmosphere most nights.

Heart of the north

My experience in The Market Hotel was very positive. The rooms are not very big but that's normal for Holland. :-) Groningen is a lovely city. There is a lot to do and see. This hotel is truly in the heart of the city and has a very laid back and positive vibe.
